Entry Level Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level certified registered nurse anesthetist job?
Start by completing an accredited nurse anesthesia program and passing the CRNA certification exam, as most entry level postings require both before day one. Highlight clinical hours, case variety from your training program, and any preceptorship experience in your application materials. Hospitals and outpatient surgery centers hiring at this level prioritize candidates who can demonstrate supervised independent case management, so document your competencies clearly and request strong letters from your clinical supervisors.
Which companies hire entry level certified registered nurse anesthetists?
Companies hiring entry level certified registered nurse anesthetists right now include Prisma Health, Novant Health, and Penn State Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring comes from a wide range of employers, including large hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and anesthesia group practices that structure onboarding programs around new graduate CRNAs.
Are there remote entry level certified registered nurse anesthetist jobs?
Yes, though remote options are limited given the hands-on nature of anesthesia practice. About 0% of entry level certified registered nurse anesthetist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those roles typically involve telehealth consultation, pre-anesthesia assessments, or administrative functions rather than direct patient care in an operating room.
Are these new grad certified registered nurse anesthetist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior certified registered nurse anesthetist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of post-certification experience, accepts clinical training hours in place of employment history, or explicitly invites candidates from CRNA programs to apply. Look for language like 'new graduates encouraged' or 'residency program available' as strong signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level certified registered nurse anesthetists?
Entry Level certified registered nurse anesthetist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive the most hiring at this level because they operate high procedural volumes that require dedicated anesthesia coverage, and many have structured orientation tracks designed to develop new graduate CRNAs into independent practitioners.
