Client Services Consultant Jobs in Hawaii: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client services consultant in Hawaii?
Most Hawaii employers require a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, along with prior experience in customer-facing or account management roles. There is no state-issued license specific to client services consulting in Hawaii, so hiring decisions center on demonstrated relationship management skills and industry knowledge. Candidates targeting financial services firms may benefit from FINRA Series licenses, while those in healthcare consulting often pursue a background in health administration or benefits coordination.
Which companies hire client services consultants in Hawaii?
Hawaii client services consultant roles are posted by Tiffany &, BAYADA Home Health Care, and The Judiciary, State of Hawaii and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hawaii's concentrated economy means large anchor employers in banking, healthcare, utilities, and hospitality account for a significant share of openings statewide.
Which Hawaii cities have the most client services consultant jobs?
Honolulu, Lihue, and Wailea have the most client services consultant openings in Hawaii. Honolulu dominates due to its concentration of corporate headquarters, financial institutions, and healthcare systems, while Kailua-Kona and Maui openings are largely driven by resort hospitality groups, regional banks, and telecommunications providers serving those island communities.
Are there remote client services consultant jobs in Hawaii?
Yes, and more than most fields, since client services consulting is fundamentally a desk and communication-based role that transfers well to remote settings. About 38% of client services consultant openings tied to Hawaii are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broad adoption of flexible work across financial services and technology accounts. Strategy, account review, and reporting work tends to be the most consistently remote.
How can I get hired as a client services consultant in Hawaii with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a customer service or account coordinator role at a Hawaii-based financial institution, healthcare plan, or telecommunications company, where internal promotion into consulting positions is common. First Hawaiian Bank, Hawaii Medical Service Association, and Hawaiian Telcom have historically brought in entry-level client support staff who move into consulting roles over time. A business degree, strong writing skills, and familiarity with CRM tools give candidates an edge even without direct consulting experience.
