Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic at Baptist MD Anderson.
This position is focused on infusion chart preparation for all three Baptist MD Anderson (BMDA) clinics. This is a primarily administrative position that involves close collaboration and communication with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure patients are prepared for treatment.
Shift Details: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
As a Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic, you will:
Positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care.
Work closely with a Physician and other team members to provide patient care and education.
Have strong phone assessment skills and be able to work autonomously in a clinic environment.
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
Be able to initiate process suggestions and prioritize well.
Have many opportunities to learn and grow through collaboration and CE opportunities.
Registered Nurse Experience:
3-5 years Nursing Experience Required
Oncology Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate of Science in Nursing Required
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
Driver's Licensed Required
