Clinical Data Specialist Jobs in Denver: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a clinical data specialist job in Denver?
Focus your search on Denver's two dominant hiring clusters: the Fitzsimons Innovation Community in Aurora, home to UCHealth, Children's Hospital Colorado, and a dense ring of CROs and biopharma firms, and the Denver Tech Center, where health IT and data management companies concentrate. Candidates who combine clinical data management platform experience, such as Medidata Rave or Oracle Clinical, with knowledge of FDA data submission standards stand out in this market.
Which companies hire clinical data specialists in Denver?
Denver clinical data specialist roles are posted by State of Colorado, Kharon, and CRUSOE and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Denver's hiring mix includes large integrated health systems, contract research organizations serving pharmaceutical clients, and health technology firms that support multi-site clinical trials.
Are there remote clinical data specialist jobs in Denver?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role. Desk-based functions like data cleaning, CDISC mapping, and query management are well suited to remote work, while site-facing or lab-adjacent positions typically require on-site presence. About 73% of clinical data specialist openings tied to Denver are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the highest remote share in CRO-sponsored and health IT roles.
How can I get a clinical data specialist job in Denver with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Denver is through a clinical research coordinator or data entry associate role at one of the health systems or academic medical centers anchored in the Fitzsimons corridor, including UCHealth or Children's Hospital Colorado. CROs in the Denver area also hire junior data associates who can grow into full specialist responsibilities. A certificate in clinical data management and hands-on familiarity with CDISC standards or EDC platforms significantly strengthens entry-level applications locally.
Which industries hire the most clinical data specialists in Denver?
The sectors hiring the most clinical data specialists in Denver are Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Denver's concentration of large hospital networks, federally funded research institutions at Fitzsimons, and a growing biopharma presence in the Denver Tech Center drives sustained demand across all three sectors.
