Entry Level Clinical Nurse Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level clinical nurse job?
Entry level clinical nurse employers look for completed nursing licensure (RN or LPN depending on the role), strong clinical rotation experience, and soft skills like patient communication and adaptability. At this stage, highlighting hands-on hours from your nursing program, any specialty rotations, and a willingness to work varied shifts gives you a real edge over candidates whose resumes are otherwise similar.
Which companies hire entry level clinical nurses?
Companies hiring entry level clinical nurses right now include Centra Health, UNC Health, and Albany Medical Center, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, you'll find openings across hospital systems, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health organizations that actively recruit new graduates.
Are there remote entry level clinical nurse jobs?
Yes, though most clinical nursing roles require in-person patient care. About 2% of entry level clinical nurse openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions typically involve telehealth triage, care coordination, or case management rather than bedside nursing.
Are these new grad clinical nurse jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior clinical nurse roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts clinical rotation hours in place of professional tenure, or explicitly invites candidates with internship or practicum backgrounds rather than requiring an established work history.
Which industries hire the most entry level clinical nurses?
Entry Level clinical nurse roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Science & Research, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the entry level because they have high patient volume, consistent turnover, and structured new-graduate orientation programs designed to onboard licensed nurses with limited professional experience.
