Who's Hiring

Clinical Research Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a clinical research job in Nashville?
Focus your search on Nashville's two main hiring corridors: the Vanderbilt University Medical Center campus in Midtown and the Brentwood-Cool Springs CRO and health-tech cluster south of the city. Academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, and mid-size contract research organizations do the heaviest hiring here. Candidates with GCP certification, experience in oncology or cardiovascular trials, and familiarity with EDC platforms like Medidata tend to move fastest in this market.
Which companies hire clinical researchs in Nashville?
Companies currently hiring clinical researchs in Nashville include Urology Associates, P.C., McKesson, and Genentech, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Nashville's employer mix leans heavily toward academic health systems, community hospital networks, and regional CROs that support multi-site trials across the Southeast.
Are there remote clinical research jobs in Nashville?
Yes, but selectively. Remote work is rare for hands-on site roles like clinical research coordinator, and common for desk-based roles like data manager, regulatory affairs specialist, or clinical trial manager. About 18% of clinical research openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the strongest remote availability concentrated in data, regulatory, and project management functions.
How can I get a clinical research job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Nashville is a clinical research coordinator role at one of the city's community hospital networks or at a smaller CRO running Phase II and Phase III trials out of the Brentwood corridor. Volunteering or interning at Vanderbilt's research programs, earning a CCRP or ACRP certification, and building familiarity with IRB submission processes gives entry-level candidates a concrete edge over applicants with only academic coursework.
