ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Clinical Oversight & Leadership: Coordinate unit staffing and provide direct leadership to ensure clinical objectives are met while maintaining high standards of quality patient care across assigned areas.
• Team Direction & Development: Assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, providing the necessary education and guidance to ensure operational success.
• Strategic Shift Planning: Exercise independent judgment to assess daily patient needs, develop appropriate care assignments, and plan services that align with productivity standards.
• Conflict Resolution & Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for patient care complaints, managing issues through established channels and adjusting priorities based on physician and patient dynamics.
• Resource & Personnel Management: Facilitate the availability of essential materials and supplies while providing critical input into the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of unit staff.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
