ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
How you'll make an impact in this role:
- Clinical Oversight & Leadership: Coordinate unit staffing and provide direct leadership to ensure clinical objectives are met while maintaining high standards of quality patient care across assigned areas.
- Team Direction & Development: Assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, providing the necessary education and guidance to ensure operational success.
- Strategic Shift Planning: Exercise independent judgment to assess daily patient needs, develop appropriate care assignments, and plan services that align with productivity standards.
- Conflict Resolution & Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for patient care complaints, managing issues through established channels and adjusting priorities based on physician and patient dynamics.
- Resource & Personnel Management: Facilitate the availability of essential materials and supplies while providing critical input into the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of unit staff.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
- Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
