Community Manager Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a community manager job in Phoenix?
Focus your search on Phoenix's multifamily housing corridor, the tech and startup cluster in Tempe and the Warehouse District, and the hospitality and retail brands headquartered in Scottsdale. Property management firms, HOA management companies, and SaaS companies hire the most consistently. Candidates who can show hands-on resident relations experience or community platform management get the fastest responses from Phoenix hiring teams.
Which companies hire community managers in Phoenix?
Employers hiring community managers in Phoenix right now include Greystar, Guardian, and HOAMCO, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Phoenix's mix of large multifamily operators, growing tech companies, and national retail and hospitality brands makes it one of the more active markets in the Southwest for this role.
Are there remote community manager jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on specialization. Community managers tied to physical properties or HOAs are almost always on-site, while those working in social media, online communities, or SaaS customer success can often work remotely. About 50% of community manager openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of August 2026. The most remote-eligible roles in Phoenix cluster around tech employers in the Tempe and north Scottsdale corridors.
How can I get a community manager job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is through leasing consultant or resident services roles at one of the city's large multifamily operators, many of which promote internally into community manager positions. HOA management companies in Chandler and Gilbert also hire coordinators who move up quickly. Building experience with community platforms, event coordination, or social media moderation at a local nonprofit or small brand strengthens any entry-level application.
