Key Responsibilities
Tax Accounting & Provision:
- Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740.
- Review current and deferred tax calculations, tax account reconciliations, and supporting workpapers.
- Analyze tax-related balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and review tax journal entries and support tax-related financial statement disclosures.
- Monitor and assess the tax impact of acquisitions, restructurings, and other significant transactions.
Tax Compliance:
- Coordinate the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns prepared by external advisors.
