Find Cybersecurity at Arista Networks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Cybersecurity roles?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Cybersecurity positions. The company has a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for technical roles, including those in network security and related engineering functions. If you're cap-subject, sponsorship depends on winning the annual USCIS lottery, so timing your application cycle and offer acceptance matters.
How do I apply for Cybersecurity jobs at Arista Networks?
Apply directly through Arista Networks' careers page, or use Migrate Mate to browse their current Cybersecurity openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. Tailor your resume to reflect experience with network security, cloud environments, or security automation. Arista's technical hiring process typically includes multiple interview rounds focused on hands-on security scenarios.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly sponsor for Cybersecurity positions?
Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas as the primary long-term work authorization path for Cybersecurity roles. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active programs, TN status for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals, and immigrant visa pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for candidates pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does Arista Networks expect for Cybersecurity roles?
Arista typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information security, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience with network security, threat analysis, or security operations is expected. Familiarity with Arista's EOS platform, cloud networking environments, or zero-trust security frameworks strengthens an application significantly.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Cybersecurity role at Arista?
If you're pursuing H-1B sponsorship, Arista would need to file your petition by the April 1 USCIS deadline for an October 1 employment start. Budget eight to twelve weeks for Arista's hiring process and begin your job search no later than January. If you're on OPT, confirm your expiration date early so recruiters can assess whether a cap-gap or H-1B filing covers your transition.
