Align Your Resume to Hardware-Adjacent Supply Chain
Arista builds physical networking equipment, so procurement, demand planning, and vendor management experience tied to electronics or hardware manufacturing will resonate far more than retail or consumer goods supply chain backgrounds.
Target Roles Where OPT STEM Extension Applies
Supply Chain roles at technology hardware companies like Arista frequently qualify for the 24-month STEM OPT extension. Confirm your specific role's SOC code qualifies before accepting an offer, since not every supply chain title triggers STEM eligibility.
Search Arista's Open Roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Supply Chain openings at Arista Networks by visa type. This surfaces only positions where sponsorship is active, saving you time screening roles that won't move your immigration status forward.
Understand TN Eligibility for Canadian and Mexican Nationals
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, the TN visa covers certain supply chain and engineering management roles without a lottery. Confirm your job title maps to a qualifying USMCA professional category before your offer letter is finalized.
Prepare for the LCA Step Before Your Start Date
For H-1B transfers or new filings, your employer submits a Labor Condition Application to DOL before USCIS adjudicates the petition. At Arista, this process runs through their legal team, so flag your visa timeline to your recruiter early in negotiations.
Document Cross-Functional Experience for PERM Later
If a Green Card through PERM is your long-term goal, build a clear paper trail of specialized supply chain skills during your time at Arista. PERM requires demonstrating that no qualified U.S. worker can fill the role as defined, and narrow specializations strengthen that case.
