Align your background with enterprise networking sales
Arista recruits Sales candidates who can speak credibly to IT buyers about cloud networking, data center switching, or security solutions. Tailoring your resume to reflect experience with complex B2B or channel sales cycles makes your application significantly stronger.
Confirm your visa type before applying
Arista sponsors H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT, but each category has different timing constraints. If your OPT expires within six months of your target start date, flag this early so the employer can initiate H-1B cap-subject filing before the April 1 registration window closes.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Sales roles
Searching for roles that actively support visa sponsorship takes time when done manually. Migrate Mate lets you filter Arista's open Sales positions by visa type so you can focus your applications on roles where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Request a clear sponsorship timeline after your offer
Once you have an offer, ask Arista's recruiting team specifically whether H-1B filing will be standard or premium processing. Premium processing guarantees a USCIS decision within 15 business days and matters if your current status has a hard expiration date.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
For H-1B petitions, USCIS requires evidence that your Sales role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Gather your degree transcripts, any relevant certifications, and a clear job description that ties your technical background to the role before your employer starts the I-129 petition.
Target roles in regions with Arista's largest sales presence
Arista's Sales headcount is concentrated around major enterprise technology markets. Applying to roles in cities like San Jose, New York, or Seattle increases your chances of landing on a team with an established process for sponsoring international hires.

Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Sales positions. The company has a consistent pattern of filing H-1B petitions across its go-to-market teams. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, Arista can typically bridge you through the cap-subject H-1B process, though timing around the April registration window is critical to discuss with your recruiter early.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Arista Networks?
Apply directly through Arista Networks' careers page or browse open roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate. When applying, emphasize your enterprise or channel sales experience and familiarity with networking or cloud infrastructure. Mention your visa status clearly in your application or initial recruiter screen so sponsorship timelines can be assessed from the start.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly use for Sales positions?
Arista supports H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 categories for Sales roles. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B is the most common path for long-term work authorization, and Arista has a track record of initiating Green Card sponsorship for retained employees.
What qualifications does Arista Networks expect for Sales roles?
Arista typically looks for candidates with experience selling complex technology solutions to enterprise or service provider accounts. Familiarity with data center networking, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity is valued. A bachelor's degree in a business or technical field is standard, and for H-1B purposes, your degree should align with the specific responsibilities outlined in your job offer.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Sales hire at Arista Networks?
Timeline depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization is immediate if you already have it. H-1B cap-subject petitions require registration in March with an October 1 start date at the earliest. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border in a single day. For EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, the PERM labor certification process alone typically takes 12 to 18 months.
