- Provide hands-on guidance in welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures in the welding lab
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for daily lessons
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper shop organization
- Support curriculum development and training activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or certification in Welding Technology preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional welding experience
- Knowledge of AWS welding standards and procedures
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of varying skill levels
Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Welder (CW) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
