Align Your Credentials to Healthcare Support Standards
Baptist Health Support Associate roles typically require demonstrated experience in patient-facing administrative environments. If your credentials were earned outside the U.S., get a formal evaluation through a NACES-approved agency before applying so hiring managers can assess your background quickly.
Target Baptist Health's High-Volume Hiring Locations
Baptist Health operates across multiple campuses with persistent openings for Support Associates. Focus your applications on facilities with ongoing patient volume growth, such as hospital-based outpatient centers, where administrative headcount needs are more stable and sponsorship decisions move faster.
Understand How EB-2 and EB-3 Apply to Your Role
Support Associate positions at Baptist Health are typically sponsored under EB-3, which covers skilled workers and positions requiring less than a bachelor's degree. If your role requires a specialized degree, ask HR whether an EB-2 pathway applies before signing your offer.
Ask About PERM Timing Before Accepting an Offer
PERM labor certification, filed with DOL, is the first step in Baptist Health's EB-2 and EB-3 process and can take 12 to 18 months alone. Confirm whether your hiring manager has started or can initiate PERM early, since delays compound as your priority date queue begins.
Use Migrate Mate to Identify Open Positions Efficiently
Support Associate openings at Baptist Health cycle through frequently and not all appear on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Baptist Health roles tied to sponsorship history so you are applying to positions where the pathway is already established.
Prepare for E-Verify Completion at Onboarding
As a large healthcare employer, Baptist Health participates in E-Verify. Have your work authorization documents organized before your start date. If your status is changing or a petition is pending, verify with HR exactly which documents satisfy E-Verify requirements for your specific situation.

Find Support Associate at Baptist Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Baptist Health sponsor H-1B visas for Support Associates?
Support Associate roles at Baptist Health are generally not H-1B eligible because H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, typically requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Baptist Health's sponsorship for this role category focuses on permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3, which have different educational and experience thresholds and a clearer fit for support-level healthcare positions.
Which visa types are commonly used for Support Associate roles at Baptist Health?
EB-3 is the most common pathway for Support Associates at Baptist Health, covering roles that require less than a four-year degree or two or more years of training. EB-2 applies when the position requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability. Both pathways require PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition.
What qualifications or experience does Baptist Health expect for Support Associate positions?
Baptist Health typically looks for candidates with experience in healthcare administrative environments, including patient scheduling, registration, or clinical coordination. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is frequently listed as a requirement or strong preference. For sponsored candidates, your experience history also needs to align with the PERM-defined job duties, so gaps or mismatched titles can complicate the DOL filing process.
How do I apply for Support Associate jobs at Baptist Health?
You can find Support Associate openings at Baptist Health through Migrate Mate, which aggregates roles from employers with active sponsorship histories so you can filter for positions where the pathway is already established. When applying, tailor your resume to match the specific duties listed, since Baptist Health's HR team uses those descriptions to structure the PERM labor certification, and consistency between your application and the eventual DOL filing matters.
How do I understand the timeline for getting sponsored through Baptist Health as a Support Associate?
The sponsorship timeline for EB-2 and EB-3 at Baptist Health typically spans several years from offer to Green Card approval, depending on your country of birth and the current USCIS priority date backlog. PERM labor certification alone takes 12 to 18 months in most cases. Getting the process started as early as possible after your hire date is the most effective way to manage the queue.
