Job Roles at Bentley Systems Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Bentley Systems Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and software roles first
Bentley Systems builds infrastructure software, so roles in software development, civil engineering, and technical consulting are the most natural fit for visa sponsorship. These departments align closely with the specialty occupation requirements that H-1B and Green Card pathways demand.
Emphasize domain expertise in infrastructure or engineering software
Bentley's products serve civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers. Candidates who can speak to infrastructure workflows, digital twins, or engineering simulation tools stand out in hiring. Matching your background to Bentley's product areas strengthens the specialty occupation case.
Research open roles before outreach
Before contacting a recruiter, identify specific open positions that match your background. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find Bentley Systems roles confirmed to support visa applicants, saving time on unconfirmed leads.
Canadian and Mexican applicants should ask about TN status
Bentley Systems sponsors TN visas, which is particularly valuable for Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying engineering and technology occupations. TN status can be arranged faster than H-1B and does not require waiting for a lottery cycle.

Does Bentley Systems sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Bentley Systems sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship track record and regularly supports H-1B filings for roles in software engineering, technical consulting, and related fields. If you're targeting Bentley Systems for H-1B sponsorship, focus your application on technical roles that clearly meet the specialty occupation standard, as these are the positions most likely to receive sponsorship support.
What visa types does Bentley Systems sponsor?
Bentley Systems sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This breadth means the company can support candidates at different stages of their immigration journey, from students on OPT to professionals seeking permanent residence.
Which roles at Bentley Systems are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Software engineering, civil and structural engineering, product development, and technical consulting roles are most commonly associated with visa sponsorship at Bentley Systems. These positions align with the company's core focus on infrastructure engineering software and meet the specialty occupation criteria required for H-1B and Green Card petitions.
How do I find visa-sponsored jobs at Bentley Systems?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find open roles at Bentley Systems that are confirmed to support visa sponsorship. You can filter by company and visa type to surface only the positions relevant to your immigration situation, avoiding job postings from employers without a real sponsorship history.
How do I approach the application process at Bentley Systems as a visa applicant?
Apply to roles that closely match your technical background, since Bentley Systems sponsors visas primarily for positions requiring specialized knowledge in engineering or software. Be upfront about your visa status early in the process. If you're on F-1 OPT, note your STEM extension eligibility if applicable, as this gives Bentley more runway before an H-1B must be filed.
