Responsibilities
The internship or co-op program provides highly motivated and qualified students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and deepen their understanding of business and technology in a real-world setting. Participants are fully embedded within their assigned teams, where they contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with professionals across departments, and develop practical skills aligned with their academic background and career interests. This experience is designed to bridge classroom learning with professional application, offering exposure to industry tools, technologies, and leadership engagement. As a Product Management Intern, you will work with one of our Product Managers/Product Management Analysts learning how to build successful software products that customers love. We will provide you with training, instruction and feedback to enable you to excel in your role. We believe that people can only be effective when they have clarity, and we will strive to always give you clarity. We are looking for someone who will be dedicated to learning, acting on feedback, and building great relationships with colleagues. Beyond that, we’re looking for someone with a high degree of ownership, who values completing work and admits failures; someone who always seeks to understand the ‘why’ for things and never accepts an incomplete understanding; someone who is biased toward validating opinions with data and maintains a healthy skepticism about the subjective; and someone who is not afraid of technology and always learning new skills. Your summer experience will enhance your business skills, and you will be contributing directly to our goals and objectives.

How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Berkley Technology Services Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technology and data roles
Berkley Technology Services focuses on software, data, and infrastructure work supporting the insurance industry. Roles in software engineering, data analytics, and cybersecurity are the most likely candidates for visa sponsorship, so align your application to those departments.
Understand the insurance technology context
Berkley operates within a highly regulated insurance environment. Demonstrating familiarity with insurance platforms, claims systems, or fintech adjacent tools signals you understand the business, which strengthens your case with hiring managers evaluating sponsorship-worthy candidates.
Flag your visa type early in the process
Berkley sponsors multiple visa categories including H-1B and Green Card pathways. Mentioning your visa type in your cover letter or initial screening call avoids wasted time and helps recruiters route your application to the right internal stakeholders from the start.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm live sponsorship openings
Not every job posting at Berkley Technology Services will explicitly mention visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find open roles at Berkley that are actively accepting sponsored applicants.
Consider the Green Card pathway from day one
Berkley has a track record of sponsoring both temporary work visas and permanent residence. If long-term U.S. immigration is your goal, ask during interviews whether the company supports EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for your role and seniority level.
Research W. R. Berkley's broader corporate structure
Berkley Technology Services operates under a large, financially stable parent company. Sponsorship decisions often involve corporate HR and legal teams. What visa types does Berkley Technology Services sponsor?
Berkley Technology Services sponsors a range of visa categories including H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT for temporary work authorization. It also supports permanent residence through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. If you're on F-1 OPT, Berkley can also count as a qualifying STEM employer depending on your role and degree field.
Which roles at Berkley Technology Services are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Technology roles are the core of Berkley Technology Services's business, so positions in software development, data engineering, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure are the most sponsorship-eligible. Roles that require a specific technical degree and involve building or maintaining insurance technology systems are a strong fit for the specialty occupation standard required by H-1B and Green Card sponsorship.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Berkley Technology Services?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks verified sponsorship history and surfaces open roles at employers like Berkley Technology Services that have a real track record of sponsoring visas. This filters out employers who list sponsorship availability without actually following through, saving significant time in your job search.
How do I approach the application process at Berkley Technology Services as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Be transparent about your visa status early. Berkley Technology Services works within a large corporate structure, meaning sponsorship approvals involve HR, legal, and finance teams. Starting the conversation in your initial recruiter screen, rather than late in the process, gives the company time to confirm sponsorship eligibility for your specific role, level, and immigration category before extending an offer.
