How do I get OPT through a top employer?
The employer does not file anything for OPT. Once USCIS approves the application and issues an Employment Authorization Document, the student presents it to the employer and can begin working. The role must relate to the student's field of study, and students should apply well before their program end date to avoid gaps in authorization.
