Target roles that align with CB20's tech focus
CB20 operates in Technology and Software, so candidates in software engineering, data, product, and IT roles are best positioned. Aligning your application to their core technical functions increases your chances of being considered for sponsorship.
Confirm H-1B sponsorship early in the process
CB20 has a track record of H-1B sponsorship. Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific role you're applying for is eligible for H-1B support before investing significant time in the interview process.
Leverage your F-1 OPT or CPT status as a starting point
CB20 sponsors both F-1 OPT and CPT, making it a practical entry point for international students. Starting in an OPT role can build the internal relationships that often support a future H-1B petition.
Explore TN visa eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
CB20 supports TN visa sponsorship for qualifying professionals. If you're a Canadian or Mexican national in a TN-eligible role like software engineer or systems analyst, this can be a faster alternative to the H-1B process.
Search for open roles with verified sponsorship history
Not every tech company that claims to sponsor actually does so consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on companies like CB20 with a documented record.
Prepare for a technical-first hiring process
As a technology and software company, CB20's interviews will likely include technical assessments. Strong technical performance signals you're worth the investment of sponsorship, so preparation here directly affects your sponsorship outcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does CB20 sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, CB20 sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a documented history of H-1B filings, primarily for roles in its Technology and Software operations. If you're targeting CB20 for H-1B sponsorship, focus your applications on technical roles and confirm sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter early in the conversation.
Which visa types does CB20 sponsor?
CB20 sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range makes it accessible to a variety of international candidates, including current students on F-1 status, recent graduates using OPT, Canadian and Mexican professionals pursuing TN classification, and experienced workers seeking H-1B sponsorship.
Which roles or departments at CB20 are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Given CB20's focus on Technology and Software, sponsored roles are most commonly in engineering, software development, data, and related technical functions. Candidates applying to these departments are better positioned to receive sponsorship support, as these are the areas where CB20 has historically demonstrated a willingness to sponsor international talent.
How do I find open jobs at CB20 that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find CB20 roles with confirmed sponsorship history. Rather than relying on job postings that may not specify visa support, Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for employers with verified sponsorship records, so you can apply to CB20 openings knowing the company actively sponsors international candidates.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting CB20 for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B petitions are filed once a year with USCIS, with the lottery registration window typically opening in March for an October 1 start date. If you're targeting CB20, aim to secure an offer several months before the registration window opens. Starting your job search early and confirming sponsorship intent before accepting an offer gives you the best chance of meeting critical deadlines.
