Target roles in food science and R&D
Chobani's product innovation and quality assurance teams are natural fits for sponsored roles. Candidates with degrees in food science, dairy technology, or chemical engineering are well-positioned for sponsorship consideration in these departments.
Understand which visa types Chobani supports
Chobani sponsors H-1B and Green Card pathways, along with F-1 OPT, CPT, and TN visas. Knowing which category fits your situation before applying helps you frame your eligibility clearly during the recruitment process.
Apply early if you're on OPT
F-1 OPT and CPT candidates should apply well ahead of their work authorization expiration. Chobani's hiring teams need time to assess sponsorship feasibility, so early engagement improves your chances of a smooth H-1B cap filing if needed.
Focus on corporate and supply chain functions
Beyond manufacturing, Chobani hires internationally for roles in finance, operations, and supply chain. These business-critical functions often support H-1B sponsorship for candidates with specialized degrees and relevant experience in the food and beverage sector.
Research open roles at Chobani through verified sponsor platforms
Not every job posting signals sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify Chobani openings where international candidates have historically been supported.
Highlight U.S.-based experience or education in your application
Candidates who completed F-1 CPT or OPT at Chobani or in the food and beverage industry have a stronger case for continued sponsorship. Demonstrating continuity and U.S.-market familiarity strengthens your application for specialty occupation classification.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Chobani sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Chobani sponsors H-1B visas. The company has filed H-1B petitions for roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, typically in technical, scientific, and corporate functions. While Chobani is not among the highest-volume H-1B sponsors in the food and beverage industry, it has a documented track record of supporting international employees through the H-1B process.
Which visa types does Chobani sponsor?
Chobani sponsors H-1B and Green Card petitions, including EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, for qualifying employees. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT work authorization for students and recent graduates, as well as TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles.
Which departments at Chobani are most likely to sponsor visas?
Sponsorship at Chobani tends to concentrate in roles requiring specialized education, such as food science, research and development, quality assurance, supply chain, and corporate functions like finance and operations. Candidates in these areas with a relevant bachelor's degree or higher are the strongest fits for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship consideration.
How do I time my application to Chobani around the H-1B cap?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year, with lottery selection shortly after. If you're on OPT and targeting Chobani, aim to begin the interview process no later than January or February. This gives hiring managers enough time to assess your candidacy and initiate sponsorship before the registration deadline. Cap-exempt situations, such as existing H-1B transfers, move on a different timeline.
How do I find open jobs at Chobani that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search platforms that verify sponsorship history rather than relying solely on job description language, which is often inconsistent. Migrate Mate lists Chobani openings alongside its verified sponsorship record, so you can see which roles are realistic targets for international candidates before investing time in an application.
