The Water Resource Recovery Facility Technician monitors the waste treatment processes by performing lab analysis, interpreting data, performing inspections, and adjusting, as necessary. Responsibilities
- Monitor, record, and interpret meter readings
- Monitor and analyze RO water
- Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions
- Perform required lab analysis, interpret, and record accurately
- Ability to collect samples
- Monitor HMI system and make necessary adjustments
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Monitor and adjust the DAF’s and centrifuge and make repairs as needed
- Inventory of all chemicals and record accurately
- Perform necessary calculations accurately
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as assigned
- Safely change out chemical totes and refill bulk chemical tanks
- Complete other tasks as needed
- Follow Chobani safety practices and GMPs
Requirements
- Wastewater Treatment Class 1 license or ability to obtain within 1 year
- 2-4 years of experience in Wastewater or Process/Utilities operations preferred
- 1-2 years’ laboratory analysis experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability
- Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- HMI Experience
- Demonstrate good communications skills, decision-making abilities, and interpersonal skills
- Forklift certified or ability to obtain
