Target clinical and patient-facing roles
Columbia Basin Health Association's sponsorship activity centers on healthcare delivery roles. Focus your search on clinical positions, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, where the organization has a clear history of supporting international candidates through the visa process.
Understand their Green Card pathway focus
CBHA has pursued permanent residency pathways like EB-2 and EB-3 for qualifying hires. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, ask recruiters early whether a role is eligible for immigrant visa sponsorship, not just temporary work authorization.
Leverage F-1 OPT to get your foot in the door
CBHA supports F-1 OPT candidates, making it a viable first employer for international graduates in healthcare fields. Use your OPT period to demonstrate value and open conversations about long-term sponsorship before your authorization window closes.
Research TN eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
CBHA sponsors TN visas, which are ideal for Canadian and Mexican healthcare professionals in qualifying roles. The TN process is faster and simpler than most other visa categories, making CBHA a particularly efficient sponsorship path for eligible applicants.
Align your application to rural and community health priorities
CBHA serves underserved communities in the Columbia Basin region. Candidates who demonstrate genuine commitment to community health and rural medicine are stronger fits, and stronger sponsorship candidates, than those treating it as a generic healthcare employer.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every healthcare employer with open roles will follow through on sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on employers like CBHA that have a documented track record.
