Align your degree to dental sales requirements
H-1B specialty occupation status for sales roles is harder to establish without a directly relevant degree. A background in biology, health sciences, business, or biomedical engineering strengthens your case. Gather transcripts and credential evaluations before applying.
Target open territories matching your clinical background
Dentsply Sirona hires Territory Sales Representatives for specific geographies tied to product lines like endodontics, implants, or imaging. Matching your prior dental or medical device exposure to the product line you're applying for gives your application a concrete edge.
Confirm sponsorship eligibility before final interviews
Ask directly during the HR screening call whether the specific territory role is approved for H-1B or TN visa sponsorship. Regional hiring managers sometimes operate independently, and sponsorship decisions can vary by business unit within Dentsply Sirona.
Understand TN visa fit for Canadian and Mexican applicants
If you're a Canadian or Mexican citizen, the TN visa is a faster path than H-1B for a sales role in medical devices. Your position must qualify under a recognized TN profession, and your employer submits no USCIS petition for Canadian applicants at the border.
Track all open roles through Migrate Mate
Dentsply Sirona posts Territory Sales Representative openings across dozens of territories at any given time. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship, so you're not wasting applications on positions that won't support your work authorization.
Build your OPT or grace period timeline around offer timing
If you're on F-1 OPT, map your remaining work authorization against Dentsply Sirona's typical hiring timeline. Sales roles often have territory-specific start dates tied to quota cycles, and a misaligned start date can leave you without valid work authorization before your H-1B petition is filed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dentsply Sirona sponsor H-1B visas for Territory Sales Representatives?
Yes, Dentsply Sirona has a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Territory Sales Representative roles. That said, sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open territory, and decisions can vary by business unit or region. Confirming sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter during your screening call is the most reliable approach.
Which visa types are commonly used for Territory Sales Representative roles at Dentsply Sirona?
H-1B is the most common route for Territory Sales Representatives at Dentsply Sirona, particularly for candidates with degrees in health sciences, biomedical engineering, or business. Canadian and Mexican citizens often pursue the TN visa as a faster alternative. F-1 OPT holders in STEM fields may also qualify for an extension while an H-1B petition is pending.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Territory Sales Representative roles at Dentsply Sirona?
Most Territory Sales Representative positions at Dentsply Sirona require a bachelor's degree and some combination of B2B sales experience, clinical knowledge, or dental industry exposure. Familiarity with the specific product line you're applying for, whether imaging equipment, endodontic tools, or implants, is a meaningful differentiator. Prior experience calling on dental practices or health systems is frequently noted in job descriptions.
How do I apply for Territory Sales Representative jobs at Dentsply Sirona?
You can browse and filter Territory Sales Representative openings at Dentsply Sirona that include visa sponsorship directly on Migrate Mate. Once you identify a territory and product line that matches your background, apply through the official Dentsply Sirona careers portal and reference your work authorization status clearly in your application. Following up with the regional recruiter after submitting is standard practice for sales roles.
How do I manage the timeline between a job offer and my H-1B filing at Dentsply Sirona?
USCIS H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed after April 1 for an October 1 start date, which creates a potential gap if you receive an offer mid-cycle. Dentsply Sirona's HR team will coordinate with immigration counsel on the filing timeline, but you should clarify whether premium processing is available to reduce approval wait times to around 15 business days.
