Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation standards
Empire Automotive Group's sponsorship activity centers on H-1B visas, which require specialty occupation roles. Focus your applications on technical, engineering, finance, or IT positions where a relevant bachelor's degree is a genuine job requirement, not just a preference.
Understand the automotive industry's sponsorship expectations
Automotive employers like Empire Automotive Group typically sponsor for roles that directly support business operations or technical functions. Highlighting specialized expertise, certifications, or experience in automotive systems, dealership operations, or fleet management strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Approach OPT and CPT opportunities as a stepping stone
Empire Automotive Group sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it a viable entry point for international students. Use a practical training period to demonstrate your value before the company transitions you to H-1B sponsorship when your student authorization is approaching expiration.
Canadian and Mexican nationals should highlight TN eligibility
Empire Automotive Group sponsors TN visas, which have no lottery and no annual cap. If you're a Canadian or Mexican national in a qualifying profession, leading with your TN eligibility can simplify the sponsorship conversation and accelerate the hiring timeline considerably.
Time your application around H-1B cap registration in Q1
If you need H-1B sponsorship at Empire Automotive Group, start conversations well before March, when USCIS opens cap registration. Employers in the automotive sector benefit from early internal approvals, so giving hiring managers runway to prepare is essential for cap-subject candidates.
Search verified sponsorship history before applying
Confirming a company's real sponsorship track record before investing time in applications saves you from pursuing dead ends. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by actual sponsorship history and identify open roles at Empire Automotive Group directly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Empire Automotive Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Empire Automotive Group does sponsor H-1B visas. The company has an established history of filing H-1B petitions for qualifying roles in the automotive sector. Sponsorship is most likely for positions that meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field relevant to the job.
What visa types does Empire Automotive Group sponsor?
Empire Automotive Group sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers international students on practical training, specialty occupation professionals, and Canadian or Mexican nationals in TN-eligible professions. The company does not have a documented history of sponsoring Green Cards, so long-term permanent residency support is not confirmed.
Which departments or roles at Empire Automotive Group are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at automotive companies like Empire Automotive Group tends to concentrate in roles that require specialized, degree-level expertise, such as engineering, information technology, finance, and operations management. General sales or entry-level service roles are less likely to qualify under H-1B specialty occupation standards. Reviewing the specific educational requirements listed in job postings is the most reliable signal of sponsorship eligibility.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Empire Automotive Group?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find open roles at Empire Automotive Group that come with verified visa sponsorship. Rather than guessing which postings include sponsorship, Migrate Mate filters by confirmed sponsorship history so you can apply with confidence. Search by company name to pull up current openings and filter by visa type that matches your status.
How do I approach the application process at Empire Automotive Group as an international candidate?
Start by identifying roles where your degree and specialization align with the job's stated requirements, since H-1B sponsorship depends on the role qualifying as a specialty occupation. Raise your visa status early in conversations with recruiters rather than waiting until an offer stage. For F-1 students, exploring CPT or OPT roles first is a practical way to build a relationship with the company before pursuing H-1B sponsorship.
