Obtain a U.S.-recognized banking certification
Credentials like the CFCS or a Series 6 license signal compliance fluency that regional banks value. Having these before you apply positions you as a lower-risk hire when a sponsorship conversation comes up.
Target branch roles over remote positions
First Financial Bank's Customer Service hiring centers on physical branch locations. In-branch roles are more likely to carry sponsorship eligibility because the worksite is fixed, which simplifies the PERM labor certification filing DOL requires.
Build a PERM-ready employment history file
DOL's PERM process requires documented proof that no qualified U.S. worker was available. Prepare a clean record of your customer-facing banking experience, including performance reviews and role-specific responsibilities, so your employer's attorney can move quickly.
Identify which branches are actively hiring international staff
Use Migrate Mate to filter Customer Service openings at First Financial Bank by location and sponsorship status, so you're applying to branches with a demonstrated pattern of supporting visa sponsorship rather than applying across the board.
Clarify your work authorization status before the final interview
First Financial Bank participates in E-Verify. Bring a clear summary of your current status, authorized period, and any grace period remaining so hiring managers can route your file to HR's immigration team without delays.

Find Customer Service at First Financial Bank JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does First Financial Bank sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
First Financial Bank's sponsorship activity for Customer Service roles is focused on employment-based Green Cards, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 categories, rather than H-1B visas. If you're currently on an H-1B with another employer, a Green Card-based sponsorship path through First Financial Bank would require your employer to initiate a PERM labor certification with the DOL, which is a longer but more permanent route.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Service roles at First Financial Bank?
Customer Service sponsorship at First Financial Bank typically runs through the EB-3 category, which covers skilled and professional workers, or EB-2 for roles requiring an advanced degree or exceptional ability. Both pathways require a PERM labor certification filed by the employer with the DOL before USCIS can process the immigrant visa petition.
What qualifications or experience does First Financial Bank expect for Customer Service roles?
Most Customer Service positions at First Financial Bank require experience in a client-facing banking or financial services environment. Familiarity with account management, loan processing, or retail banking operations is a strong differentiator. For sponsored roles, a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field often supports the EB-2 or EB-3 petition your employer will file on your behalf.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at First Financial Bank?
Browse open Customer Service roles at First Financial Bank on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can focus on positions that match your immigration needs. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight banking-specific customer service experience and be prepared to discuss your work authorization status directly with the hiring team early in the process.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Customer Service role at First Financial Bank?
Because sponsorship at First Financial Bank runs through EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways, the timeline is longer than an H-1B transfer. The PERM labor certification alone can take six to twelve months with the DOL, followed by the I-140 petition with USCIS. Your total wait depends on your country of birth and your priority date in the visa bulletin.
