About Fluidstack
At Fluidstack, we’re building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence. We partner with top AI labs, governments, and enterprises - including Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more - to unlock compute at the speed of light. We’re working with urgency to make AGI a reality. As such, our team is highly motivated and committed to delivering world-class infrastructure. We treat our customers’ outcomes as our own, taking pride in the systems we build and the trust we earn. If you’re motivated by purpose, obsessed with excellence, and ready to work very hard to accelerate the future of intelligence, join us in building what's next.
About The Role
We’re hiring a Global Logistics Lead to own the strategy and execution of how Fluidstack moves, stores, and delivers materials across its entire supply chain. You will define our transportation network design, select and manage 3PL/4PL partners, govern our warehousing strategy, and establish the standards that will scale both nationally and internationally. Building a supercomputer is a logistics problem: thousands of SKUs, multi-vendor and multi-national supply chains, global deployments, and client-designated materials with contractual custody requirements all arriving at the right time, in sequence, and without surprises. Your job is to build the plane while flying (or chartering) it. You will interface directly with Supply Chain, Program Management, Procurement, Finance, and onsite operations, and be the primary owner for everything that happens between PO release and on-site delivery. The right candidate has seen what speed at scale looks like and is ready to build it from scratch in a fast-moving, quickly-growing company where decisions compound.
What You'll do
- Own Fluidstack’s transportation strategy across all modes (ocean, air, land) for the movement of DC equipment, servers, networking hardware, and associated materials to global datacenter sites.
- Design lane and carrier strategies that balance cost, lead time, and risk across a multi-geography, multi-site deployment pipeline.
- Evaluate, select, and manage carrier and freight forwarder relationships; negotiate rates and SLAs; hold partners accountable to performance metrics.
- Build contingency routing and escalation protocols for time-critical or high-value shipments.
- Define Fluidstack’s warehousing and fulfillment model: which capabilities to own vs. outsource, and how to structure 3PL/4PL relationships to support rapid site deployments across new geographies.
- Select, onboard, and manage 3PL/4PL partners; establish SLAs, KPIs, and contractual accountability frameworks; drive continuous improvement across receiving accuracy, cycle count performance, throughput, and cost-per-unit.
- Evaluate build vs. buy decisions for central warehouse capacity as Fluidstack’s site footprint expands.
- Own operating standards for all Fluidstack-managed and 3PL-operated warehouse locations: receiving protocols, location control, storage rules, inventory segregation (company-owned vs. client-designated compute hardware), and cycle count cadences targeting greater than 99% inventory accuracy.
- Establish custody governance for client-designated materials, including chain-of-custody documentation, audit trail requirements, and handoff protocols.
- Own the master materials register: BOM-to-PO linkage, real-time status tracking from PO release through site delivery, and complete end-to-end visibility for all stakeholders.
- Serve as the escalation owner for any in-transit, carrier, or documentation issue that threatens the project schedule.
- Serve as the primary Supply Chain interface to Construction, Infrastructure, Program Management, Procurement, Finance/AP, and onsite operations; own logistics cost reporting, budget accountability, and the data our Accounting needs for accruals and 3-way match.
- Drive ERP upgrades and our logistics platforms (including WMS/TMS) and build KPI dashboards that give leadership real-time operational visibility.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations
- Proven track record of designing and scaling logistics networks in a high-growth, hardware-intensive, or infrastructure deployment environment (hyperscaler, neocloud, large-scale construction, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience managing 3PL/4PL relationships: RFP/selection, SLA negotiation, KPI management, and performance improvement.
- Deep command of freight modes and trade-offs: LTL, FTL, white-glove, air, and heavy haul for large or high-value equipment.
- Experience building or overhauling warehouse operations: receiving standards, location control, cycle count programs, and inventory accuracy management.
- Strong data discipline: proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (especially integration with NetSuite); able to build and own operational dashboards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication; comfortable operating without a defined playbook and making high-impact decisions under ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in datacenter, GPU, or server hardware logistics: white-glove freight, customs/import requirements for tech hardware, or site mobilization supply chains.
- Familiarity with client-designated materials protocols, vendor-managed inventory, or custody governance for customer-owned GPU and compute hardware.
- Experience standing up a logistics function from scratch, including tool selection, process design, and team hiring.
- Background working with international freight: customs brokerage, Incoterms, and cross-border compliance for hardware shipments.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
- Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options. We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Frame your experience around GPU supply chains
Fluidstack operates distributed AI compute infrastructure, so logistics roles often involve hardware procurement, data center equipment, and international freight. Tailor your resume to highlight experience managing complex technical supply chains rather than traditional retail or consumer goods logistics.
Confirm your role qualifies as a specialty occupation
The E-3 requires your logistics position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a bachelor's degree in a directly related field like supply chain management or operations is normally required. Generic coordinator roles can sometimes fail this test, so review the job description closely before applying.
Target Fluidstack roles through Migrate Mate
Fluidstack posts open logistics positions across multiple channels. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Fluidstack logistics roles that have confirmed E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not wasting applications on positions where visa support is unclear.
Ask about the LCA before your first interview
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your E-3 visa application can proceed. For tech companies like Fluidstack, this is often handled in-house, but confirming the timeline early prevents delays between your offer acceptance and your consulate appointment.
Account for consulate wait times in your start date negotiation
E-3 consulate appointment slots in Sydney and Melbourne can run several weeks out, sometimes longer during peak periods. When negotiating your start date with Fluidstack, build in at least six to eight weeks from offer acceptance to account for document preparation and the appointment queue.
Prepare a clear degree-to-role justification document
Consular officers routinely ask how your specific degree relates to the logistics role. For a tech infrastructure company like Fluidstack, prepare a written narrative that connects your supply chain or operations degree to the specific responsibilities in the job offer letter.

Find Logistics at Fluidstack JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Fluidstack sponsor H-1B visas for Logistics roles?
Fluidstack's documented sponsorship activity for logistics roles is tied to the E-3 visa, which is available exclusively to Australian citizens. If you're not Australian, you'd need to discuss H-1B sponsorship directly with Fluidstack's recruiting team, as H-1B sponsorship for logistics functions is less common and subject to the annual lottery. Australian nationals should focus on the E-3 pathway.
Which visa types are commonly used for Logistics roles at Fluidstack?
The E-3 visa is the primary pathway for logistics professionals at Fluidstack. It's available only to Australian citizens and requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation supported by a relevant bachelor's degree. The E-3 has no lottery, renews in two-year increments, and has no cap that has come close to being reached, making it a predictable option for eligible candidates.
How do I apply for Logistics jobs at Fluidstack?
You can find Fluidstack's open logistics positions through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles with confirmed sponsorship history so you know E-3 support is on the table before you apply. When you apply, emphasize any experience with hardware logistics, global freight, or supply chain operations tied to technology infrastructure, as Fluidstack's needs are distinct from traditional logistics employers.
What qualifications or experience does Fluidstack expect for Logistics roles?
Fluidstack operates AI compute infrastructure across distributed locations, so logistics roles typically require a background in supply chain management, operations, or a related field, ideally with exposure to technical hardware or data center equipment. A relevant bachelor's degree is important for E-3 eligibility, not just for meeting Fluidstack's hiring bar. Experience coordinating international shipments or vendor relationships in a technology environment strengthens your application significantly.
How do I plan the timeline for an E-3 visa after receiving a Fluidstack offer?
Once you have a written offer, Fluidstack's team initiates the Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes one to two weeks when filed electronically. After LCA certification, you schedule a consulate appointment in Australia. From offer to visa stamp, most applicants should plan for six to ten weeks total, though consulate backlogs can extend this. Align your start date with Fluidstack accordingly.
