How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Globalstar Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Globalstar's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines, satellite systems, RF engineering, software development, and network operations. Focusing your application on these functions gives you the strongest alignment with the company's established sponsorship history.
Highlight specialized telecom or satellite expertise
Globalstar operates in a niche segment of the telecommunications industry. Applicants with hands-on experience in satellite communications, spectrum management, or terrestrial network integration will stand out more than generalist candidates in a small, specialized hiring pool.
Prepare for a smaller, focused hiring process
Globalstar is not a large enterprise with thousands of open roles. Their sponsorship volume reflects a selective, technical-first approach. Research active openings carefully and tailor each application rather than applying broadly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Ask about Green Card sponsorship early
Globalstar has a track record of supporting permanent residence pathways in addition to temporary work visas. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, it's worth asking hiring managers or recruiters about the company's Green Card sponsorship process during early conversations.
Leverage F-1 OPT and CPT as an entry point
Globalstar sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, which means international students can gain a foothold through structured work authorization before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship. An internship or early-career role can be a strategic first step into a longer-term sponsored position.

Does Globalstar sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Globalstar sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established pattern of supporting H-1B filings, primarily for technical and engineering roles within its satellite and telecommunications operations. If you're targeting an H-1B with Globalstar, focus on roles that require a specialized degree in fields like electrical engineering, software engineering, or telecommunications.
What visa types does Globalstar sponsor?
Globalstar sponsors several visa categories: H-1B for specialty occupation workers, TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for international students, J-1 for exchange visitors, and EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for permanent residence. The breadth of visa types makes Globalstar accessible to international candidates at different career stages.
Which roles or departments at Globalstar are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Globalstar is concentrated in technical and engineering functions, satellite systems engineering, RF and antenna design, software development, and network operations are the most common fit. Corporate and administrative roles are less likely to be sponsored. Candidates with deep expertise in communications technology or satellite infrastructure are best positioned for a sponsored role.
What is the typical timeline for visa sponsorship at Globalstar?
For H-1B sponsorship, timing depends on USCIS's annual lottery, which opens in March for an October 1 start date. Employers typically begin the process several months in advance. Green Card timelines vary significantly based on visa category and your country of birth. It's worth discussing sponsorship timelines early in the hiring process so there are no surprises on either side.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Globalstar?
The most reliable approach is to search for Globalstar directly on Migrate Mate, which filters for employers with verified sponsorship histories so you're not guessing whether a company will sponsor. From there, review active roles that match your technical background, confirm the visa type aligns with your situation, and apply directly through the company's careers page for the best response rate.
