Job Roles at Harley Ellis Devereaux
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Harley Ellis Devereaux Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that align with your specialty license or credential
Harley Ellis Devereaux prioritizes Green Card sponsorship for licensed architects, engineers, and technical specialists. Applying to roles where your credentials directly match the position strengthens your case for employer-sponsored permanent residence from the outset.
Start on H-1B before pursuing permanent residence
Most Green Card pathways at architecture and engineering firms like Harley Ellis Devereaux begin with H-1B sponsorship. Establishing yourself as a strong performer on a nonimmigrant visa signals that the firm is willing to invest in a longer-term permanent residence process.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline early
Green Card sponsorship in construction and real estate typically involves a PERM labor certification filed by the employer. Discussing this process with your hiring manager or HR contact early helps set realistic expectations and avoids surprises later.
Focus on EB-2 or EB-3 eligibility based on your role
Harley Ellis Devereaux has sponsored both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. Understanding which category your role qualifies for, based on degree requirements and job duties, helps you and your employer choose the right petition pathway from the beginning.
Demonstrate project impact and long-term commitment
Firms in the built environment sponsor permanent residence for employees they view as long-term assets. Showing measurable contributions to project delivery, client relationships, or technical leadership makes a stronger case for Green Card sponsorship at Harley Ellis Devereaux.

The firm operates in architecture and engineering within the construction and real estate industries, and has a documented history of filing permanent residence petitions for specialized technical and design professionals through both EB-2 and EB-3 categories.
Which roles at Harley Ellis Devereaux are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Harley Ellis Devereaux is most common for licensed architects, structural and MEP engineers, project managers, and other technical specialists where the role requires a specific degree and the employee has demonstrated strong performance. Roles with professional licensure or advanced specialization tend to receive priority for permanent residence filings.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Harley Ellis Devereaux?
The process typically begins with PERM labor certification, filed by Harley Ellis Devereaux with the Department of Labor to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. Once PERM is certified, the employer files an I-140 immigrant petition, and you either adjust status in the U.S. or go through consular processing abroad. Coordinating closely with the firm's immigration counsel throughout is essential.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at Harley Ellis Devereaux?
The overall timeline depends primarily on your country of birth and the visa category. PERM and I-140 processing can take anywhere from several months to over a year. For applicants from countries with high demand, such as India, priority date backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories can extend the total timeline significantly beyond the petition stage.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at Harley Ellis Devereaux?
Searching directly on the Harley Ellis Devereaux careers page is a good starting point, but it won't always indicate which roles come with Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate lists verified sponsoring employers and filters open roles by sponsorship type, so you can identify Harley Ellis Devereaux positions where permanent residence support is part of the offer.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Harley Ellis Devereaux?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
