Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Marketing Strategy and Operations (S&O) team creates the systems and rhythms that empower the marketing team to move quickly and work well together. We partner with the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team to set strategy, run operations, plan effectively, and decide how to use resources so the organization can perform at its best. We are executive advisors, masters of scale, and drive accountability to our organization’s stated goals and metrics.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Marketing Program Manager to drive a multi-prong sports sponsorship program. This involves end-to-end program management as we plan, execute, and test and optimize sponsorships across multiple sports teams, global execution, and dozens of sporting events. This high-profile program (internally and externally) sits at the intersection of brand, marketing and communications, and B2B hospitality / pipeline building for an executive facing audience. This is an inaugural program with a multi-year commitment, meaning you will get the opportunity to shape the program from the ground-up into a world-class execution engine. This requires someone who can move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution and can zoom in and out based on the task at hand.
Responsibilities
- Lead global end-to-end program management for a multi-year sports sponsorship program across multiple sports teams / events / internal Stripe teams and workstreams
- Build and maintain repeatable playbooks, best practices documentation, and toolkits to efficiently scale our event execution engine
- Coordinate and manage budget plans in partnership with the accountable leads to ensure spend is on-track
- Own program communications in digestible and exec-ready format, including operationalizing reporting across functions into unified views
- Drive ongoing improvements via process innovation, automation, and the adoption of AI-powered tools to increase productivity and transform workflows
Who you are
A tenacious, organized problem-solver who is a self-starter. You bring structure, clarity, and simplicity to complex problems and focus teams with competing priorities into aligned goals and plans. You are equally comfortable presenting to executives as you are clearing tactical roadblocks to the team. You design systems, tools, and AI-first workflows to structure and automate programs and processes. You don’t think 5 steps ahead, you think 100 steps ahead; you lead teams to structure phased milestones to achieve the intended end vision. You proactively anticipate risk and account for risks and dependencies in plans to ensure we are planful and prepared for every foreseeable execution need.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 7-10+ years of project management experience, ideally in brand, marketing, sports, or events
- Strong experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders at the executive and working team level and competing priorities
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
- Experience creating playbooks, toolkits, and operational documentation for scaled program maturity
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with large-scale, high-profile, executive-facing brand hospitality events
- Experience managing projects in Asana (or other project planning software)
- Experience with Salesforce (e.g. for managing audience building and reporting)
- Experience partnering with agencies, vendors and third parties to bring consistency and standards
- Experience in the Tech industry; financial services, payments, or B2B software a plus
- AI project management workflow automation
- East coast preferred, to manage timezones across Pacific and European teams

Align your role to EB-2 requirements early
Stripe files Green Cards across EB-2 and EB-3 categories, but EB-2 requires a position that genuinely demands an advanced degree. Review the job description for language like 'master's required' or 'specialized expertise' before applying, so your candidacy supports the right category from day one.
Document specialized fintech skills before interviewing
Stripe hires for deep technical roles in payments infrastructure, risk systems, and financial APIs. Build a clear record of your expertise in distributed systems, compliance engineering, or data science before applying. PERM labor certification requires proving no qualified U.S. worker is available, so specificity in your credentials matters.
Understand the PERM recruitment paper trail
Stripe's legal team must run DOL-mandated recruitment steps before certifying a PERM application. Know that this process typically takes six to twelve months and that any gap in documentation can trigger a denial. Ask your recruiter early whether the role is flagged as Green Card-eligible to avoid starting from scratch post-offer.
Use Migrate Mate to find Stripe's active sponsorship roles
Stripe posts roles across multiple job boards, but not all positions qualify for Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified LCA filing history by employer and role, letting you identify which Stripe job titles have a documented track record of Green Card filings before you apply.
Check prevailing wage levels for your target role
PERM requires Stripe to pay at or above the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Run your target job title through the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating an offer. If your offered salary falls at a lower wage level, your PERM petition faces a higher audit risk from DOL.
Time your application to maximize priority date protection
If you're from a backlogged country, your USCIS priority date is set when Stripe files your I-140 petition, not when PERM is certified. Ask Stripe's immigration counsel whether concurrent filing of PERM and I-140 is available for your role, which can protect your place in the queue months earlier.
Stripe, Inc. Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Stripe, Inc. sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Stripe sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees, primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories. Sponsorship is most consistent for technical roles in engineering, data infrastructure, and product development. Stripe's immigration program is managed internally with outside counsel, and eligibility is typically discussed after an offer is extended.
Which roles at Stripe are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Stripe's Green Card filings are concentrated in software engineering, machine learning, site reliability engineering, and data science. Finance, compliance, and product management roles at senior levels have also received sponsorship. Roles tied to Stripe's core payments and financial infrastructure products tend to have the strongest sponsorship precedent given the specialized skill requirements.
How do I start the Green Card process at Stripe?
The process typically begins after you've been employed at Stripe for a period and your manager and HR confirm the role qualifies. Stripe's immigration counsel then initiates the PERM labor certification with DOL, which involves a formal recruitment audit. From there, USCIS adjudicates the I-140 immigrant petition. Migrate Mate can help you understand where your role fits in this process before you even apply.
How long does the Green Card process take at Stripe?
From PERM filing to an approved I-140, the process typically runs one to two years. If you're from a country without a visa backlog, you may be able to file for adjustment of status shortly after I-140 approval. Applicants from India or China face significantly longer waits due to USCIS priority date backlogs, sometimes spanning many years.
How do I position myself as a strong Green Card candidate at Stripe?
Focus on roles with specialized degree requirements and a clear connection to Stripe's fintech infrastructure. Review O*NET occupation profiles for your target job title to understand how the role is classified for PERM purposes. Having documented, specialized skills that are difficult to source domestically strengthens Stripe's ability to certify your PERM application with DOL.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Stripe, Inc.?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
