Align your degree to the role
Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP's H-1B filings concentrate in specialty occupations requiring a directly related bachelor's or higher degree. Map your exact field of study to the job description before applying. A mismatch between your degree and the role's requirements is the most common reason H-1B petitions draw a Request for Evidence.
Research prevailing wage before negotiating
Use the OFLC Wage Search to find the DOL prevailing wage for your target role and metro area before discussing compensation. Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP must certify it will pay at least the prevailing wage on the Labor Condition Application, so knowing the floor gives you an informed starting point.
Target teams with recurring sponsorship history
Within investment and asset management firms, quantitative finance, actuarial science, and risk analytics teams drive the most H-1B filings. When reaching out to Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP recruiters, emphasize your fit for these functions rather than general finance roles to signal you belong in a sponsorship-eligible position.
Submit before the April cap deadline
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration each March, with petitions filed in April for an October 1 start date. Start conversations with Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP's talent team in January or February so the employer has time to prepare your petition package before the filing window opens.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm sponsorship activity
Before investing time in Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP's application process, verify their H-1B filing history by role and location on Migrate Mate. Filtering by job title lets you confirm which departments have actively sponsored, so you can prioritize positions where approval precedent already exists.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP operates in a sector where USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims closely. Gather academic transcripts, professional evaluations, and a clear explanation of how your degree field directly applies to the offered role before your employer begins the I-129 petition preparation.
Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in roles that meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements. The firm operates in investment and asset management, where many positions in quantitative analysis, actuarial science, financial engineering, and risk management qualify. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a conditional offer and is handled through the firm's legal or HR function.
Which roles at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Roles in quantitative research, actuarial analysis, risk modeling, financial engineering, and investment analytics are the most consistent candidates for H-1B sponsorship at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP. These positions require a bachelor's or advanced degree in a directly related field, which satisfies USCIS specialty occupation standards. General finance or operations roles without a degree-specific requirement are less likely to qualify.
How do I start the H-1B process at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP?
The process begins after you receive a conditional offer. Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP's HR or legal team will coordinate with an immigration attorney to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL and then the I-129 petition with USCIS. Your role is to supply academic credentials, employment history, and a detailed job duties description. Premium processing is available through USCIS if a faster decision is needed.
What is the typical H-1B timeline I should expect at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP?
Standard USCIS processing for an H-1B petition runs several months, with H-1B cap cases starting employment on October 1 of the fiscal year. Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP would need to file during the April petition window for that start date, meaning conversations should begin no later than January. Premium processing shortens the USCIS adjudication window to 15 business days if the employer elects it.
How do I find open H-1B roles at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP?
Migrate Mate lists open positions at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can identify which roles the firm has actively sponsored rather than guessing from the job posting alone. Cross-referencing the O*NET occupation profile for your target title also helps you confirm the role meets specialty occupation criteria before you apply.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Apollo Insurance Solutions Group LP?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
