Job Roles at SPEAR Physical Therapy
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in SPEAR Physical Therapy H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target clinical roles first
SPEAR Physical Therapy's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in direct patient care roles. Physical therapist and PT associate positions are where sponsorship activity is highest, so focus your applications on licensed clinical openings rather than administrative roles.
Confirm your licensure before applying
H-1B sponsorship for physical therapists requires state licensure or eligibility. Before reaching out to SPEAR, verify your PT license is active or transferable in the state where the role is based, as this directly affects their willingness to initiate sponsorship.
Apply ahead of the H-1B cap season
SPEAR must file H-1B petitions before the April lottery window. Engaging with their recruiting team in late fall or early winter gives you the best chance of being included in their annual cap-subject filings before the registration deadline closes.
Highlight specialty clinical experience
SPEAR focuses on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Applicants with hands-on experience in these subspecialties are more competitive for sponsorship consideration. Tailor your resume to reflect relevant clinical rotations, certifications, or patient population experience in musculoskeletal care.
Use a platform that shows real sponsorship history
Not every job board distinguishes real sponsors from companies that rarely file. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find SPEAR Physical Therapy openings alongside other confirmed H-1B employers in healthcare.
Ask HR directly about the sponsorship process
SPEAR's hiring teams in Healthcare and Medical Services are accustomed to sponsorship questions from internationally trained clinicians. Asking early about their internal H-1B process, including which immigration attorney they use, signals professionalism and helps you assess fit before investing time in the full interview cycle.

Does SPEAR Physical Therapy sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, SPEAR Physical Therapy sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent history of sponsoring internationally trained physical therapists and clinical staff across its U.S. locations. Sponsorship is most common for licensed PT roles in direct patient care, and SPEAR works with immigration counsel to manage the H-1B petition process for qualifying hires.
Which roles at SPEAR Physical Therapy are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at SPEAR Physical Therapy is concentrated in licensed clinical positions, particularly physical therapist roles. These positions meet the H-1B specialty occupation requirement because they demand a specific degree in physical therapy. Administrative, front desk, and non-clinical support roles are generally not sponsored, as they do not meet the degree-specific threshold the H-1B requires.
How do I apply for H-1B sponsorship at SPEAR Physical Therapy?
Start by applying directly to open physical therapist positions on SPEAR's careers page or through a platform like Migrate Mate, which tracks verified H-1B sponsors in healthcare. Once you receive an offer, SPEAR's HR team initiates the H-1B process by working with their immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application and prepare your I-129 petition ahead of the USCIS filing window.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at SPEAR Physical Therapy?
Timeline depends on when you enter the process relative to the annual H-1B cap cycle. If you're subject to the cap, USCIS opens registration in March and approved petitions take effect October 1. Standard USCIS processing after filing runs three to five months. Premium processing, which SPEAR may offer, reduces USCIS adjudication to a few weeks. Plan for a minimum of six months from offer to start date for cap-subject cases.
What should I know about SPEAR Physical Therapy's H-1B process before interviewing?
Coming prepared with your licensing status, degree credentials, and a clear understanding of your visa timeline will make the sponsorship conversation straightforward. SPEAR recruits in a field where international candidates are common, so their HR team is familiar with H-1B logistics. Confirm state PT licensure eligibility before interviewing, since sponsorship approval depends on it. Raising the sponsorship conversation after receiving an offer rather than before is generally the more effective approach.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at SPEAR Physical Therapy?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
