Target Technology and Engineering Roles First
Hub Group's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical functions. If your background is in software development, data engineering, or IT systems, you're applying to the part of the business where sponsorship is most established and consistently practiced.
Understand How Intermodal Logistics Shapes Hiring
Hub Group operates at the intersection of rail, trucking, and supply chain technology. Roles tied to logistics optimization, freight systems, and network operations are core to the business and more likely to justify the investment of visa sponsorship than peripheral functions.
Apply Early in the Fiscal Year for H-1B Timing
Hub Group files H-1B petitions to meet the April cap deadline. If you're targeting a role that requires cap-subject sponsorship, starting conversations in the fall or winter gives the company enough lead time to complete the LCA and petition process.
Highlight OPT or CPT to Lower the Initial Barrier
Hub Group has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT workers, which means they're comfortable hiring international students before the H-1B stage. Framing your OPT authorization as a low-friction entry point can make you a more attractive candidate early in the process.
Canadian Nationals Should Explore the TN Visa Path
Hub Group sponsors TN visas, which offer a faster and simpler process than H-1B for eligible Canadian professionals. If your occupation qualifies under USMCA and you hold Canadian citizenship, the TN route is worth discussing with the recruiting team directly.
Use Migrate Mate to Confirm Sponsorship Before Applying
Don't rely on a job posting alone to determine if Hub Group will sponsor your visa type. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsorship history by visa category, so you can confirm Hub Group's track record matches your situation before investing time in an application.

Find Hub Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hub Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Hub Group sponsors H-1B visas. The H-1B is the company's primary pathway for sponsoring international workers in specialty occupations, particularly in technology and systems-related roles. Hub Group participates in the annual H-1B cap process, so candidates should engage with recruiters well ahead of the April filing deadline to allow time for the Labor Condition Application and petition preparation.
Which visa types does Hub Group sponsor?
Hub Group sponsors H-1B, Green Card (EB-2 and EB-3), F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers most of the common pathways for international workers, from student work authorization through to permanent residence. The mix of visa types signals that Hub Group is experienced with multi-stage sponsorship, not just one-off filings.
Which departments or roles at Hub Group are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Hub Group is most common in technical and data-driven roles, including software engineering, data analytics, and IT infrastructure. The company's investment in logistics technology and intermodal platform development drives demand for specialized technical talent that is difficult to source domestically. Operations roles with a strong analytical or systems component may also qualify depending on the position.
How do I find open jobs at Hub Group that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Hub Group roles with verified sponsorship history, so you can filter specifically for positions where international candidates have been sponsored before. This is more reliable than scanning general job postings, which rarely specify visa eligibility clearly. Search Hub Group directly on Migrate Mate to see current openings alongside the company's sponsorship track record by visa type.
How do I time my application to Hub Group around the H-1B cap?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March for an April 1 filing window, which means employers must begin internal preparation months earlier. For Hub Group, reaching out to recruiters between October and January gives the company enough runway to assess your role, complete the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, and submit the petition on time. Late applications risk missing the annual cap entirely.
