How to Get Visa Sponsorship in IGT Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technology and engineering roles
IGT's sponsorship activity is concentrated in software engineering, systems development, and technical architecture roles that support its gaming and lottery platforms. Focusing your search on these functions gives you the strongest shot at a sponsored position.
Understand IGT's dual-track sponsorship
IGT sponsors both H-1B and Green Card visas, which matters for long-term planning. Look for roles where the employer has a history of moving employees from H-1B status toward permanent residence, as this signals deeper sponsorship commitment.
Research IGT's regulated markets footprint
IGT operates in heavily regulated gambling and lottery markets across multiple U.S. states. Compliance, legal, and regulatory affairs roles occasionally draw sponsorship, so don't overlook these functions when searching for opportunities.
Apply early in IGT's hiring cycles
Gaming technology companies often align engineering hiring with product roadmap milestones. Applying before fiscal quarters close improves your chances. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and time your applications accordingly.
Highlight specialized gaming or lottery tech experience
IGT competes for niche talent in gaming software, RNG systems, and lottery platform management. Candidates who can speak directly to experience in regulated gaming environments stand out and are more likely to receive sponsorship consideration.
Prepare for a multi-stage immigration process
As an active H-1B and Green Card sponsor, IGT's immigration process typically involves coordination between HR and outside counsel. Expect documentation requests early. Understanding the LCA and I-140 process before your interview signals seriousness to the hiring team.
