ROLE OVERVIEW
The Student Loan Professional helps borrowers understand repayment options, forgiveness programs, and strategies to manage student loan debt.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide 30-minute consultations with borrowers
- Explain federal repayment plans and forgiveness options
- Help customers understand income-driven repayment programs
- Educate customers on deferment, forbearance, and consolidation options
- Discuss strategies to reduce long-term student loan costs
IDEAL BACKGROUND
- Student loan counselor, financial advisor, or loan servicing professional
- Experience working with federal and private student loans
- Familiarity with borrower protection programs and repayment options
