Align your experience with KPMG's platform priorities
KPMG's DevOps roles often sit within their Lighthouse and Ignition delivery centers. Framing your background around cloud-native tooling, Azure or AWS governance, and enterprise-scale CI/CD signals direct fit with their audit-tech modernization agenda.
Prepare credentials before the offer stage
KPMG's immigration team moves quickly after an offer is accepted. Have your degree certificates, transcripts, and any relevant certifications ready to hand off. Delays in credential gathering are one of the most common reasons H-1B petition timelines slip.
Understand KPMG's client site work and visa implications
DevOps Leads at KPMG regularly work at client locations. H-1B holders working off-site need a certified Labor Condition Application covering each worksite. Confirm with your recruiter that KPMG's process accounts for multi-location LCA compliance before signing your offer.
Factor H-1B cap timing into your job search calendar
If you're not already in H-1B status, USCIS only accepts cap-subject petitions once per year with an October 1 start date. Target KPMG's hiring cycles in Q4 to Q1 so an offer can align with the March registration window.
Use Migrate Mate to identify KPMG DevOps Lead openings actively sponsoring
Search for DevOps Lead roles at KPMG on Migrate Mate to filter specifically for positions open to visa sponsorship. This saves you from applying to postings where sponsorship eligibility is unclear or excluded before you invest time in the process.
Ask directly about PERM eligibility during the offer negotiation
KPMG sponsors Green Cards through PERM for select technology roles, but it's not automatic. Raise permanent residency timelines during the offer conversation, not after onboarding. Getting PERM initiated early matters significantly if you're on an H-1B with limited extensions remaining.

Find Devops Lead at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Devops Leads?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for DevOps Lead roles. Their in-house immigration team handles petition preparation and filing, which is standard for a firm of their size. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your offer timing will need to align with USCIS's annual registration period, which opens in March for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Devops Lead jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal at kpmg.com/careers. Search by role title and filter for technology or advisory functions, where most DevOps Lead openings are posted. You can also browse KPMG's open DevOps Lead positions that include visa sponsorship directly on Migrate Mate, which filters out roles where sponsorship is not available.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Devops Lead roles?
KPMG uses H-1B visas most commonly for DevOps Lead positions. Australian citizens may be eligible for the E-3 visa, which avoids the lottery entirely and allows earlier starts. For longer-term employment, KPMG also supports Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories via the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for a Devops Lead role?
KPMG typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, alongside hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, infrastructure-as-code tools, and enterprise CI/CD systems. Lead-level roles generally require demonstrated experience managing DevOps practices across cross-functional teams, not just individual contributor work. Certifications in Azure DevOps or AWS are frequently preferred.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at KPMG for this role?
For H-1B transfers from an existing H-1B, KPMG can typically file and begin employment within a few weeks. For cap-subject petitions, you're looking at a start date no earlier than October 1 following the March lottery. PERM labor certification for Green Card sponsorship can take 12 to 24 months or more before an I-140 petition is even filed, so raising it early with your hiring manager is important.
