Frame your credentials around KPMG's audit context
KPMG's product security work sits at the intersection of enterprise software and regulated financial data. Certifications like CSSLP, CISSP, or cloud security credentials carry more weight here than generalist AppSec experience alone.
Target roles tied to client delivery teams
KPMG product security openings linked to audit technology or advisory delivery groups are more likely to involve direct employer sponsorship than shared-services postings, which sometimes route through third-party staffing arrangements incompatible with H-1B portability.
Search open roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter KPMG's active Product Security Engineer listings by visa type, so you're only applying to roles where H-1B, E-3, or Green Card sponsorship is already confirmed, not implied.
Time your offer around the H-1B registration window
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March. If you receive an offer outside that window, confirm with KPMG's immigration team whether they'll file for cap-exempt status or hold your start date until the next cycle.
Document specialty occupation evidence early
KPMG's Professional Services context means USCIS may scrutinize whether a Product Security Engineer role meets specialty occupation standards. Gather degree transcripts, role-specific job descriptions, and any project documentation that ties your work to a specific technical discipline before your employer files Form I-129.

Find Product Security Engineer at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Product Security Engineers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Product Security Engineers. KPMG participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery administered by USCIS each March, and its size as a global professional services firm means it has established immigration infrastructure to support filings. Sponsorship availability can vary by business unit and office location, so confirm with your recruiter that the specific role you're targeting includes H-1B support.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Product Security Engineer roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for technical roles like Product Security Engineer. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and offers a faster path. For longer-term employment, KPMG also supports Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 or EB-3 categories, typically after you've been with the firm for a qualifying period and the role meets PERM labor certification requirements.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for Product Security Engineer roles?
KPMG typically expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related engineering field for Product Security Engineer positions. Practical experience with secure software development lifecycles, threat modeling, and cloud security is commonly required. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or AWS Security Specialty strengthen your application, particularly for roles embedded within KPMG's audit technology or advisory delivery teams where regulatory context matters.
How do I apply for Product Security Engineer jobs at KPMG?
You can browse and apply for Product Security Engineer roles at KPMG through Migrate Mate, which filters listings specifically for visa-sponsored positions so you're not sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. Once you identify a relevant opening, applications go through KPMG's own careers portal. Tailor your resume to reflect secure development experience within enterprise or regulated environments, which aligns with KPMG's core client base.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at KPMG for this role?
For H-1B sponsorship, the timeline depends on the USCIS annual cap cycle. Registration opens in March, and if selected, your employer files the full petition by June, with an October 1 start date under standard processing. KPMG's immigration team typically handles DOL Labor Condition Application filing and Form I-129 preparation. E-3 applicants can move faster since there's no lottery, with consular processing often completing within four to eight weeks of receiving a certified LCA.
