THE OPPORTUNITY
Through Lower and Movoto, we are creating a homeownership platform that helps customers throughout their entire journey—from finding a home, to financing it, to managing and unlocking the value of their home over time. This role reports to the EVP of Growth Marketing and works closely with leaders across Marketing, Analytics, Product, Sales, and Operations.
For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to help build a lifecycle capability from the ground up and influence how customers engage with Lower and Movoto throughout their homeownership journey. Over time, the systems, programs, and experiences you help build will shape millions of customer interactions across our platform.

Build Programs that Drive Business Impact:
- Design, launch, and optimize lifecycle programs across email, SMS, and other customer touchpoints.
- Develop audience segmentation, personalization, and targeting strategies.
- Build programs that help customers throughout the homeownership journey while driving measurable business outcomes.
Lead Experimentation and Continuous Learning:
- Design and execute experiments to better understand customer behavior and improve lifecycle performance.
- Test messaging, offers, channels, audience definitions, timing, personalization approaches, and customer journeys.
Build Scalable Systems and Processes:
- Help develop the systems, processes, and automation that enable lifecycle marketing to scale efficiently.
- Partner with technical teams to improve data quality, audience creation, measurement capabilities, and customer experiences.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Success in this role is measured by the quality of customer experiences created, the systems built, and the business impact generated.
Within your first 12-18 months, you will:
- Help build a scalable customer growth engine.
- Establish experimentation as a core operating discipline within lifecycle marketing, developing a repeatable process for generating insights, testing ideas, measuring outcomes, and scaling successful initiatives.
- Launch and optimize programs that contribute meaningfully to company growth.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and use those insights to create more relevant and valuable customer experiences.
- Become a trusted partner to stakeholders across Marketing, Analytics, Product, Sales, and Operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-6 years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, retention marketing, product growth, marketing analytics, customer analytics, revenue operations, or a related customer growth discipline.

Focus on technical and data roles
Lower's sponsorship history in Banking & Financial Services skews toward specialized technical positions. Software engineering, data, and product roles in fintech companies like Lower are more likely to receive H-1B support than generalist or sales-facing positions.
Prioritize OPT-friendly timing
Lower has sponsored F-1 OPT candidates, making it worth targeting during your OPT window. Applying while already authorized removes the immediate sponsorship burden and builds a relationship before an H-1B petition becomes necessary.
Understand the sponsorship scale before applying
Lower sponsors visas but is not among the highest-volume sponsors in financial services. Go in with a realistic picture of their capacity and be prepared to make a strong case for why your role specifically requires sponsorship.
Research their mortgage and lending tech stack
Lower operates at the intersection of fintech and mortgage lending. Aligning your skills with their core product areas, like digital lending platforms or loan origination systems, strengthens your candidacy for the technical roles most likely to receive sponsorship.
Ask about sponsorship policy early in the process
With a company sponsoring at a measured volume, confirming their willingness to sponsor your specific visa type before the final interview rounds saves time for both sides. TN candidates especially should clarify eligibility given its distinct requirements.
Use a verified sponsor filter when searching
Not every fintech company that lists open roles actually sponsors visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your applications on companies like Lower that have a documented track record.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Lower sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Lower has sponsored H-1B visas. Their sponsorship activity is limited in scale compared to large financial institutions, so competition for sponsored roles can be meaningful. Candidates with highly specialized skills in mortgage technology, software engineering, or data are best positioned to secure H-1B support from a company of this size.
What visa types does Lower sponsor?
Lower has sponsored H-1B and F-1 OPT visas, and TN visas are listed among their supported types. This makes them relevant for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories, as well as recent graduates on OPT and experienced professionals pursuing H-1B sponsorship in the financial services and fintech space.
Which departments or roles at Lower are most likely to be sponsored?
Based on their fintech and mortgage lending focus, technical roles, including software engineers, data analysts, and product specialists with expertise in digital lending or loan origination, are the most likely candidates for visa sponsorship. Roles with niche technical requirements that are hard to fill domestically tend to receive the strongest sponsorship consideration at companies sponsoring at Lower's volume.
What does the application timeline look like for sponsored roles at Lower?
For H-1B candidates, timing depends heavily on the annual lottery, which runs in the spring for an October 1 start date. F-1 OPT candidates have more flexibility since OPT authorization allows immediate work while the H-1B process is initiated. TN candidates can move faster, as TN status can often be obtained at the border or port of entry without the same multi-month lead time.
How do I find open sponsored roles at Lower?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find roles at Lower that come with real sponsorship history attached. Rather than sorting through job listings with no visibility into whether a company actually files visas, Migrate Mate lets you filter by verified sponsors in Banking & Financial Services so you can apply with confidence that sponsorship is a genuine option.
