Job Roles at Matthews International Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Matthews International Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with sponsored visa types
Matthews International has sponsored H-1B and Green Card candidates, which typically map to technical, engineering, and professional services roles. Focus your application on positions where specialized degree requirements are central to the job, as these are most likely to qualify for sponsorship.
Understand the consulting and professional services hiring cycle
Companies in Consulting & Professional Services often hire on project demand rather than fixed windows. Monitor Matthews International's job listings consistently throughout the year rather than targeting one seasonal period to maximize your chances of finding a sponsored opening.
Highlight specialty occupation credentials clearly
For H-1B sponsorship at Matthews International, your degree must directly align with the role. In your resume and cover letter, make the connection between your educational background and the specific technical or professional function of the position explicit and unmistakable.
Explore both H-1B and Green Card pathways when applying
Matthews International has sponsored both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories. If you're seeking long-term U.S. residency, ask about EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways during interviews, some employers in this industry are open to discussing permanent sponsorship for strong candidates.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm sponsorship history before applying
Before investing time in an application, verify that Matthews International has an active sponsorship track record. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from pursuing companies that list sponsorship as possible but rarely follow through.
Prepare for a longer timeline if Green Card sponsorship is your goal
Green Card sponsorship through Consulting & Professional Services employers like Matthews International involves PERM labor certification, which can take a year or more before USCIS filing even begins. Start the conversation with HR early and clarify the company's internal process before accepting an offer.

Does Matthews International sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Matthews International does sponsor H-1B visas. The company has an established history of filing H-1B petitions for skilled professionals in technical and professional services roles. If you hold a qualifying specialty occupation degree and are targeting a role where your credentials directly match the position, Matthews International is worth pursuing as a potential H-1B sponsor.
What visa types does Matthews International sponsor?
Matthews International sponsors H-1B visas for nonimmigrant work authorization and has pursued Green Card sponsorship through employment-based immigrant categories including EB-2 and EB-3. The company also accepts F-1 OPT candidates and supports TN visa holders from Canada and Mexico, making it a reasonably broad option for international professionals across multiple immigration statuses.
Which departments or roles at Matthews International are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Matthews International tends to concentrate in roles requiring specialized technical or professional expertise, consistent with the company's Consulting & Professional Services operations. Engineering, technology, operations, and finance functions are typically stronger candidates for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship than general administrative roles, where degree specificity requirements are harder to establish for specialty occupation classification.
How do I find open jobs at Matthews International that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find Matthews International jobs that come with verified sponsorship history. Rather than applying to roles and hoping sponsorship is available, Migrate Mate lets you filter by employer sponsorship track record so you can focus only on positions where international candidates have a realistic path to work authorization. Browse current Matthews International openings there directly.
How do I approach the application process at Matthews International as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process rather than waiting until an offer is made. Matthews International operates in an industry where project resourcing and compliance timelines matter, so hiring managers generally appreciate clarity. If you're on OPT, note your remaining authorized period. If you're seeking H-1B sponsorship, confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation during your initial recruiter conversation to avoid surprises later.
