Job Roles at Microchip Technology Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Microchip Technology Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and embedded systems roles
Microchip Technology's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines like firmware, hardware design, and silicon engineering. Focusing your search on these core functions gives you the strongest chance of landing a sponsored role.
Apply early in the H-1B cap season
As an active H-1B sponsor, Microchip typically files petitions ahead of the April cap deadline. Targeting open roles between January and March gives your application the best chance of being included in that cycle.
Highlight domain-specific technical skills
Microchip values deep expertise in microcontrollers, analog design, and embedded software. Tailoring your resume to reflect their product lines and technical stack signals you can contribute without a long ramp-up period.
Look for roles that align with Green Card sponsorship
Microchip has a consistent track record sponsoring both EB-2 and EB-3 petitions, which signals long-term investment in international hires. Senior engineering and specialized technical roles are most likely to come with that pathway. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Check for opportunities in less competitive locations
Microchip operates facilities across multiple U.S. states beyond its Arizona headquarters. Roles in smaller offices or manufacturing sites may face less applicant competition while offering the same strong sponsorship support.
