Align Your Resume to Managed Care Language
Molina serves Medicaid and Medicare populations, so frame your customer service experience around healthcare plan navigation, member eligibility, or claims resolution. Generic call-center experience reads weaker than experience tied to health plan operations.
Ask Directly About the H-1B Filing Timeline
If an offer comes in January through March, ask whether Molina plans to file under the April cap-subject lottery or has cap-exempt facility options. Some of their healthcare contracts involve nonprofit or government-affiliated sites that qualify for cap-exempt status.
Prepare PERM Documentation Early for EB Pathways
Molina sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, but PERM labor certification through DOL requires documented recruitment efforts. Request clarity on their internal immigration counsel process before accepting an offer so you understand the expected timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Sponsor Roles
Customer Specialist openings at Molina rotate frequently across states. Use Migrate Mate to surface active listings filtered by visa type so you apply to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, not roles where you have to negotiate it later.

Find Customer Specialist at Molina Healthcare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molina Healthcare sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Specialists?
Yes, Molina Healthcare sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Specialist roles. Because this is a cap-subject visa, timing matters significantly. If you receive an offer between January and March, your employer needs to file by the April USCIS registration window. Offers made later in the year typically carry over to the following fiscal year cycle, so confirm the filing plan upfront.
How do I apply for Customer Specialist jobs at Molina Healthcare?
Applications go through Molina Healthcare's careers portal, where you can filter by role type and location. Roles turn over frequently across their Medicaid and Medicare programs. Migrate Mate is a reliable way to track verified Customer Specialist openings at Molina that include visa sponsorship, so you can apply directly to listings where immigration support is already confirmed.
Which visa types does Molina Healthcare commonly sponsor for Customer Specialists?
Molina sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for this role. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering member services, while H-1B and TN are more typical for ongoing employment. The TN visa applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying professional categories.
What qualifications does Molina Healthcare expect for Customer Specialist roles?
Most Customer Specialist postings require experience in healthcare customer service, member support, or health plan operations. Familiarity with Medicaid or Medicare populations is a practical advantage given Molina's core business. Bilingual fluency, particularly Spanish, is frequently listed as preferred given the demographics of the member populations Molina serves across its state contracts.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Customer Specialist offer at Molina Healthcare?
For H-1B, expect a minimum of six to nine months from offer to work authorization if you are entering the cap lottery. TN visas for Canadian nationals can be processed at the border in a single day. F-1 OPT authorization depends on your school's DSO processing time, typically three to five months before your program end date. Confirm timelines with Molina's HR team at the offer stage.
