How to Get Visa Sponsorship in NexTier Completion Solutions Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technical and engineering roles first
NexTier's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines tied to completion and fracturing operations. Engineers, data scientists, and field specialists in the energy sector are the strongest candidates for sponsored positions at NexTier.
Align your background with oilfield services needs
NexTier operates in a highly specialized segment of the energy industry. Candidates with backgrounds in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or data analytics applied to well completion will be most competitive for sponsored roles.
Research NexTier's active job openings before reaching out
NexTier's sponsorship happens at the role level, not company-wide. Find open positions that match your visa type before contacting recruiters. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and target the right openings.
Prepare for a technically rigorous hiring process

Be transparent about your visa status early
NexTier has demonstrated willingness to sponsor qualified candidates, but immigration timelines affect project planning. Raising your sponsorship needs clearly and early in the process allows the hiring team to plan accordingly and avoids delays later.

Does NexTier Completion Solutions sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, NexTier Completion Solutions sponsors H-1B visas for qualified international candidates in technical and engineering roles. The company operates in the oilfield services sector, where specialized expertise is in demand. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every role, so applicants should confirm visa support early in the process and target positions where their technical background is a strong match.
What types of visas does NexTier Completion Solutions sponsor?
NexTier Completion Solutions sponsors H-1B nonimmigrant visas as well as permanent residence through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. This makes NexTier a viable long-term option for international professionals seeking both temporary work authorization and a pathway to permanent residence in the United States through employer sponsorship.
Which departments or roles at NexTier Completion Solutions are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at NexTier is most common in technical and engineering functions directly tied to its core completion services business. Roles in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, data analytics, and operations support tend to attract sponsorship. Corporate and administrative functions are less likely to require the specialized skills that typically drive a company to pursue visa sponsorship.
How do I find sponsored job openings at NexTier Completion Solutions?
The most reliable approach is to search for NexTier openings on Migrate Mate, which aggregates positions from verified H-1B and Green Card sponsors and lets you filter by company sponsorship history. From there, match your technical background to available roles, confirm visa support with the recruiter early, and tailor your application to NexTier's completion services focus.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting NexTier Completion Solutions for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship requires your employer to file a petition before the April 1 filing window, with the lottery typically running in March. This means you should aim to secure an offer from NexTier well before that, ideally by late fall or early winter of the preceding year. Starting your job search six to nine months ahead of the cap season gives you the best chance of meeting critical deadlines.
