Position Summary:
The Acute Access Team Lead is responsible for providing day-to-day guidance and support to the staff involved in registration for acute settings, including inpatient, emergency department (ED), surgical, oncology, and rehabilitation areas. This position ensures the accuracy of patient data, adherence to compliance standards, and the delivery of a positive patient experience. The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in resolving patient concerns, supporting staff training, and maintaining efficient workflow processes.
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $21.66/hr - $27.07/hr - $29.23/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, social work, public health, or a related area is preferred.
Certification:
- No specific licensure is required, but certifications in healthcare access management or practice management are advantageous.
Licensure:
- Association accredited course in Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three-month grace period after the expiration date.
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of acute care workflows and registration processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and guide team members.
