Align your credentials to Omnicell's specialty occupation standard
H-1B sponsorship requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. For Healthcare positions at a medical devices company like Omnicell, document how your degree field directly maps to the clinical or technical duties in the job description, not just the industry broadly.
Target roles bridging clinical and technical functions
Omnicell's Healthcare hiring tends to sit at the intersection of pharmacy operations and software implementation. Roles requiring both a clinical background and technical aptitude, such as implementation consultants or clinical analysts, are where international candidates tend to find the strongest sponsorship case.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Healthcare roles by visa type
Omnicell posts Healthcare roles across multiple visa-eligible categories. Browse current openings filtered by sponsorship type on Migrate Mate so you're only spending time on positions where your visa situation is already a fit before you apply.
Ask directly about Omnicell's internal immigration counsel process
Companies with established sponsorship programs typically work with designated outside immigration attorneys. Asking your recruiter early whether Omnicell uses outside counsel or in-house support signals you understand the process and helps you gauge how smoothly the filing will move.
Prepare your PERM documentation before the Green Card conversation starts
If you're targeting a long-term path, PERM labor certification requires employer recruitment records and a prevailing wage determination from DOL before filing. Gather your educational credentials and employment history now so you're not creating delays once your employer initiates the process.
