Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Coordinator to support daily HR operations across multiple locations and states. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth employee experience from onboarding through employment lifecycle changes.
This is not a purely administrative role. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow into a broader HR role over time.
What You’ll Do
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding through Paylocity, including offer letters, new hire setup, and onboarding workflows.
- Manage background checks through Checkr and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity.
- Process employee changes (status updates, pay changes, promotions, terminations).
- Track and follow up on time-off requests and approvals.
- Respond to employee HR inquiries and support the HR Manager/management team.
- Maintain organized documentation, including notes to file and employee records.
- Other tasks as needed.
Growth & Development Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll preparation, audits, and reporting across multiple entities.
- Support benefits administration and employee questions.
- Help draft HR communications, policies, and updates.
- Assist with employee relations documentation and investigations.
- Track compliance items across multiple states.
