About the role
Point is transforming how we use data — from a team that reports what happened to one that explains why and recommends what to do next. As Lead Data Analyst, you'll be the most senior analyst on the team and the standard-bearer for that shift. You'll take our hardest, highest-stakes business questions and drive them from an ambiguous ask to a rigorous, trusted answer with a clear recommendation. Working closely with leaders across product, marketing, and operations, you'll own how our most important metrics are defined and set the bar for what great analysis looks like. This is a lead individual-contributor role with a potential direct report, helping build a function that's becoming a true analytical partner to the business — and the human judgment layer on top of a company increasingly able to self-serve with AI.
Your responsibilities
- Own the definition and integrity of core business metrics — bring an opinionated, well-reasoned point of view and drive alignment across stakeholders on a single source of truth.
- Lead end-to-end deep-dive analyses on our highest-stakes questions — from framing the problem, through causal and statistical rigor, to a written recommendation the business can act on, including retrospective reads on whether past bets paid off.
- Design and interpret experiments and causal analyses — separate correlation from causation, and quantify the tradeoffs and elasticities leaders need to prioritize with confidence.
- Serve as an embedded analytical partner to senior product, marketing, and operations leaders — understand their goals, anticipate the questions, and proactively surface insights rather than just fielding requests.
- Translate business logic into documented metric definitions and the semantic layer that powers self-serve analytics and AI-driven data access.
- Set the analytical standard for the team — model rigorous, reproducible work and raise the bar through mentorship and example.
About you
- 8+ years in analytics, data science, or a quantitative decision-science role, with a track record of analyses that changed business decisions — not just dashboards.
- Deep SQL expertise and warehouse fluency (Snowflake and dbt a plus); comfortable navigating messy, imperfect data and reasoning rigorously about its reliability.
- Strong statistical foundation — causal inference, experimentation, regression — and the judgment to know which method fits the question.
- Exceptional at framing ambiguous problems and communicating findings crisply to senior, non-technical stakeholders; you form a point of view and defend it with evidence.
- A track record of influencing decisions without formal authority, and a natural standard-setter who elevates the people around you.
- Bonus: experience in fintech, lending, mortgage, or real estate; and hands-on experience with AI-assisted analytics (LLMs, semantic layers, self-serve tooling).
Compensation
Compensation at Point will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Point has identified the expected annual base salary for this role at this level based on the market by tiers (Region | Location | Market Salary):

This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews, coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors, to determine final compensation.

Target roles that align with Green Card sponsorship
Point Digital Finance has focused its sponsorship activity on permanent residency pathways rather than temporary work visas. Prioritize roles in financial analysis, portfolio management, or quantitative research where long-term retention justifies the EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship investment.
Position your credentials for EB-2 eligibility
Investment and asset management firms sponsoring EB-2 visas expect advanced credentials. A master's degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field strengthens your case considerably. Highlight specialized skills that are difficult to source domestically, which supports the labor certification process.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 involves a PERM process that can take a year or more before the actual petition. Go into conversations with Point Digital Finance knowing this timeline and signaling you're prepared for a long-term employment relationship.
Demonstrate long-term commitment to the firm
Asset management companies sponsor Green Cards for employees they plan to retain. In interviews, emphasize your interest in growing within the firm, your familiarity with their investment strategies, and your intent to build a career in U.S. financial markets, not just fill a short-term role.
Look for open roles through verified sponsorship data
Not every finance company with a sponsorship history advertises it openly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your search on Point Digital Finance and similar firms that have actually filed for international talent.
Align your application with investment management specializations
Point Digital Finance operates in a niche corner of financial services. Research their specific investment focus, whether that's consumer finance, digital assets, or structured products, and tailor your resume to reflect directly relevant experience rather than broad financial services generalism.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Point Digital Finance sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship records, Point Digital Finance has not been an active H-1B visa sponsor. Their documented sponsorship activity is focused on permanent residency through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. If you need H-1B sponsorship specifically, this may not be the right target, but if you're pursuing a long-term Green Card pathway in investment management, it's worth pursuing.
What visa types does Point Digital Finance sponsor?
Point Digital Finance sponsors employment-based Green Cards, specifically through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. These pathways are designed for professionals with advanced degrees or specialized skills and require employer-sponsored PERM labor certification. This suggests the company is willing to invest in long-term immigration support for the right candidates in qualifying roles.
Which roles or departments at Point Digital Finance are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
In investment and asset management firms, sponsorship tends to concentrate in roles requiring quantitative, analytical, or specialized financial expertise, such as financial analysts, portfolio analysts, risk managers, and data-driven research roles. These positions often justify the cost and complexity of Green Card sponsorship because the skills involved are difficult to source locally.
How do I approach the application process at Point Digital Finance as a visa-dependent candidate?
Be upfront about your visa requirements early in the process, ideally after initial interest is established. Frame your sponsorship needs around Green Card pathways rather than temporary work authorization, since that aligns with their documented history. Emphasize your intent to build a long-term career at the firm, as Green Card sponsorship requires a sustained employment relationship to move forward successfully.
How do I find current job openings at Point Digital Finance that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Point Digital Finance roles filtered by verified sponsorship history. Rather than guessing which postings include immigration support, Migrate Mate lets you browse openings at companies with documented Green Card and visa sponsorship records, so you can focus your energy on employers who have already demonstrated a willingness to sponsor international talent.
