Target roles aligned with QIMA's core service lines
QIMA's sponsorship activity centers on specialized consulting and professional services roles. Focus your applications on positions in quality assurance, supply chain compliance, auditing, or technical inspection, where the company's most relevant visa-sponsored hiring tends to occur.
Understand which visa types QIMA has filed for
QIMA has sponsored H-1B1 visa and employment-based Green Cards. If you're eligible for the H-1B1, which is exclusive to Chilean and Singaporean nationals, you may have a more direct path than applicants competing in the standard H-1B lottery.
Lead with your specialized expertise in applications
In consulting and professional services, employers sponsor visas when a candidate's technical expertise is hard to source domestically. Highlight deep, field-specific knowledge in quality control, auditing standards, or supply chain compliance to strengthen your case.
Prepare for a longer hiring cycle when sponsorship is involved
Consulting firms like QIMA often move carefully on sponsored hires given the compliance requirements. Expect a multi-stage process involving technical assessments and interviews with regional leadership, especially for roles that involve client-facing work or global operations.
Search for open roles using a platform that tracks real sponsorship history
Not all job listings disclose sponsorship willingness upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend screening employers who won't support your visa.
Position Green Card sponsorship as a long-term goal in interviews
QIMA has sponsored employment-based Green Cards, signaling openness to long-term investment in international talent. If you're targeting permanent residency, express genuine commitment to the company's mission during interviews, as retention potential influences sponsorship decisions at consulting firms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does QIMA sponsor H-1B visas?
QIMA's documented sponsorship history shows H-1B1 visa filings rather than standard H-1B visa cap-subject petitions. The H-1B1 is a related but distinct visa available exclusively to Chilean and Singaporean nationals, and it does not require entry into the H-1B lottery. If you hold citizenship from one of those two countries and work in a specialty occupation aligned with QIMA's services, the H-1B1 visa pathway may be worth exploring directly with the company's HR or legal team.
What visa types does QIMA sponsor?
QIMA has sponsored H-1B1 visa work visas and employment-based Green Cards, specifically in the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. The EB-2 typically applies to professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers in roles requiring at least two years of training. Both pathways reflect QIMA's willingness to invest in international talent for specialized roles within its quality control and compliance operations.
Which roles at QIMA are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at QIMA tends to align with its core business in quality inspection, supply chain auditing, and compliance consulting. Professionals with technical backgrounds in engineering, laboratory sciences, or international trade compliance are well-positioned, as these specializations are central to the company's service delivery. Client-facing roles requiring domain expertise in product safety or regulatory standards are also strong candidates for sponsored positions.
How do I find visa-sponsored job openings at QIMA?
The most efficient approach is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates roles from verified visa-sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company name, visa type, and industry. This removes the guesswork of determining whether an employer will support your application. Once you identify a relevant opening at QIMA, tailor your resume to emphasize the technical specialization and industry-specific credentials that consulting firms typically require for sponsored hires.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by QIMA?
QIMA sponsors selectively, so differentiation matters. Prioritize building expertise in quality management systems, international compliance frameworks, or supply chain risk, since these align directly with the company's service lines. During the interview process, demonstrate both technical depth and familiarity with QIMA's client industries, which span retail, food safety, and consumer goods. Candidates who can clearly articulate why their skills are difficult to source locally tend to make the strongest case for sponsorship.
