Align your degree with specialty materials engineering
Rogers focuses on engineered materials like laminates, foams, and elastomers. A degree in materials science, chemical engineering, or electrical engineering maps directly to their core product lines and strengthens your visa petition's specialty occupation argument.
Target roles in active product segments
Rogers consistently hires for advanced electronics and electric vehicle materials divisions. Filtering your applications to these high-growth segments puts you in front of hiring managers with active headcount and familiarity with international candidate workflows.
Clarify sponsorship scope before your offer stage
Rogers sponsors multiple visa categories including employment-based Green Card pathways. Ask HR during final rounds which categories apply to your specific role level so you aren't surprised by a PERM timeline when you expected a faster nonimmigrant route.
Account for TN eligibility if you qualify
Canadian and Mexican engineers may qualify for TN status, which has no lottery and no USCIS petition required for Canadians. If you hold citizenship from either country, confirm with Rogers HR whether your engineering role title meets DOL's TN occupation list.
Find Rogers engineering openings faster on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters jobs by visa type and employer sponsorship history. Search Rogers engineering roles there to surface only positions where sponsorship is confirmed, saving time you'd otherwise spend screening out listings with no immigration support.

Find Engineering at Rogers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Rogers sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Rogers does not appear in public H-1B disclosure data as a consistent high-volume H-1B filer for engineering roles. Their documented sponsorship activity for this function centers on employment-based Green Card categories and F-1 OPT and CPT. If an H-1B is essential to your situation, confirm directly with Rogers recruiting whether that pathway is available for the specific role you're targeting.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Rogers?
Applications go through Rogers' careers portal on their official website. For sponsored roles, filter by engineering and review the job description for any language about work authorization. Migrate Mate also surfaces Rogers engineering openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you can confirm sponsorship eligibility before investing time in an application.
Which visa types does Rogers typically use for Engineering roles?
Rogers' documented sponsorship activity for engineering positions includes F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Each category has different eligibility rules and timelines, so your best path depends on your nationality, degree level, and how long you can wait for status approval.
What qualifications does Rogers expect for sponsored Engineering positions?
Rogers engineers typically work on advanced materials used in electronics, automotive, and industrial applications. Expect requirements around materials science, chemical engineering, or electrical engineering at the bachelor's level minimum, with many roles preferring graduate degrees or hands-on lab and manufacturing experience. USCIS requires that sponsored roles qualify as specialty occupations, so a directly related degree field is essential, not just general engineering.
How do I time the sponsorship process for an Engineering role at Rogers?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization is tied to your program end date and requires DSO coordination. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border with no advance filing. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship involves a PERM labor certification with DOL, which typically runs six months to over a year before USCIS even receives the I-140 petition. Start the conversation with Rogers HR early in the offer process.
