Responsibilities
You Will . . .
- Administer and configure Workday Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, and Procurement
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Workday Accounting Center, including data transformation rules, source system integrations, and journal entry automation
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations
- Manage Workday business process frameworks, security roles, and domain policies related to Finance
- Build and maintain custom and composite reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support financial reporting needs
- Support period-end close activities, including validation of journal entries, reconciliation workflows, and financial data accuracy
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage Workday case submissions, and coordinate with Workday support as needed
- Evaluate Workday release notes bi-annually and assess impact to the Finance environment; lead regression testing and deployment
- Maintain system documentation, process flows, and training materials for end users
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation and system enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS

- 4–7+ years of hands-on Workday Financials administration experience
- Demonstrated experience with Workday Accounting Center (configuration, data source setup, transformation rules, and journal entry creation)
- Proficiency across core Workday FIN modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses
- Understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, journal entries, period close processes)

- Workday Pro Certification in Financials (required or expected within 6 months of hire)
