Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Business Development Jobs at Sandvik Jobs
Frame your background in mining verticals
Sandvik's Business Development roles center on capital equipment and digital solutions for mining and rock processing. Tailor your resume to show experience with industrial sales cycles, B2B account growth, or technical solution selling in extractive industries specifically.
Target regional offices aligned with mining operations
Sandvik's Business Development hiring concentrates near major mining markets. Searching by locations in states like Nevada, Arizona, and Wyoming increases your chances of finding roles where the team actively needs technical commercial talent and visa sponsorship is already expected.
Ask directly about sponsorship before final interviews
Once you have a recruiter conversation, ask whether the role is approved for H-1B sponsorship or PERM-based Green Card filing. Sandvik's HR teams can confirm this before you invest time in case studies or panel interviews.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Sandvik posts Business Development positions across multiple job boards, but not all listings signal sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter Sandvik openings by the visa types they've historically filed, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already on the table.
Prepare a credentials package that supports an H-1B specialty occupation claim
USCIS requires Business Development roles to qualify as specialty occupations, typically needing a directly related bachelor's degree or higher. Gather your transcripts, degree equivalency evaluations if needed, and any professional certifications in business, engineering, or a related field before your offer stage.

Find Business Development at Sandvik JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sandvik sponsor H-1B visas for Business Development roles?
Yes, Sandvik sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development positions. The company files H-1B petitions on behalf of qualifying candidates, meaning your employer handles the USCIS petition process after you've received and accepted an offer. Roles need to qualify as specialty occupations, so a relevant bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field strengthens your case significantly.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Sandvik?
Applications go through Sandvik's careers portal, where you can filter by function and region. Migrate Mate also aggregates Sandvik's Business Development openings and filters them by visa sponsorship type, which helps you prioritize roles where international candidates are actively considered. Tailoring your application to highlight industrial or mining sector experience improves your response rate with Sandvik recruiters.
Which visa types does Sandvik commonly use for Business Development hires?
Sandvik uses a range of visa categories for Business Development talent, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. For longer-term hires, Sandvik also supports EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process filed with DOL.
What qualifications does Sandvik look for in Business Development candidates seeking sponsorship?
Sandvik's Business Development roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated experience in B2B sales or account management. Experience in mining, industrial equipment, or capital-intensive industries carries significant weight. For H-1B eligibility, your degree needs to align directly with the role's responsibilities as defined under USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How do I navigate the timeline between a Sandvik offer and visa filing?
After accepting an offer, Sandvik's legal team initiates the visa petition process with USCIS. For H-1B cap-subject cases, you need an offer in place before the April lottery registration window. Cap-exempt filings and TN applications move faster, sometimes within weeks. Clarify your intended start date with your recruiter early so the filing timeline aligns with your current visa status and any grace period constraints.
