Align your background to mining verticals
Sandvik's Sales Business Development roles target segments like hard rock mining, rock tools, and crushing equipment. Frame your resume around capital equipment sales or industrial solution selling in extractive industries, not generalist B2B experience.
Research which visa categories Sandvik files
Sandvik sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Knowing which categories they've used for Sales Business Development helps you ask informed questions during recruiter calls rather than raising sponsorship as an unknown.
Prepare credentials that support specialty occupation
USCIS requires H-1B petitions to demonstrate the role is a specialty occupation requiring a specific degree. For a technical sales role at a mining equipment company, gather documentation connecting your engineering, geology, or related degree to the responsibilities described in the job posting.
Engage Sandvik's recruiters about territory openings
Sandvik's Sales Business Development headcount often tracks regional mining activity, particularly in western U.S. states and Canadian-border regions. Referencing specific product lines like Sandvik's rock drilling tools or automation solutions signals genuine market knowledge to hiring managers.
Browse open roles through Migrate Mate
Filter Sales Business Development openings at Sandvik by visa type on Migrate Mate so you only apply to roles where sponsorship aligns with your current status. This saves time and surfaces positions most relevant to your immigration situation.

Find Sales Business Development at Sandvik JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sandvik sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Business Development roles?
Yes, Sandvik sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Business Development positions. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation when the job requires a technical degree in engineering, geology, mining, or a related field. Your application packet should clearly connect your academic background to the specific responsibilities in the job description to support USCIS approval.
Which visa types does Sandvik commonly use for Sales Business Development positions?
Sandvik sponsors H-1B visas for cap-subject candidates and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for students entering the role early in their career. For candidates seeking permanent residence, Sandvik has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, typically tied to demonstrated long-term employment.
What qualifications does Sandvik expect for Sales Business Development roles?
Sandvik typically looks for candidates with a technical undergraduate degree, ideally in mining engineering, mechanical engineering, geology, or a related discipline, combined with hands-on experience selling capital equipment or industrial solutions to mining operations. Familiarity with Sandvik's product ecosystem, including drilling tools, rock processing, or automation systems, strengthens your candidacy and supports the specialty occupation argument for H-1B petitions.
How do I apply for Sales Business Development jobs at Sandvik?
Browse open Sales Business Development roles at Sandvik through Migrate Mate, which lets you filter by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm the role matches your immigration status before applying. Apply directly through Sandvik's careers portal and tailor your application to the specific product line or territory listed. Early recruiter contact to confirm sponsorship availability saves time if multiple roles are open simultaneously.
How do I plan the timeline for visa sponsorship when joining Sandvik in a Sales Business Development role?
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, coordinate your offer timeline so Sandvik can file your H-1B petition before the April cap deadline for an October 1 start. For TN visa holders, status changes or new employer filings can be processed faster. USCIS premium processing is available for H-1B petitions and reduces the adjudication window to roughly 15 business days, which helps align your start date with Sandvik's hiring plans.
