The Profile
If you need to be the "strategic voice" who delegates ALL execution, this isn't your team. You don't delegate your way out of execution. You own outcomes, not just strategy. When campaigns underperform, you're in the weeds debugging landing pages when speed calls for it. When the RFP deadline is approaching and the RFP manager is on PTO, you're pitching in. You have a servant leader mindset and are not afraid of rolling up the sleeves. You raise the performance bar through your own execution standards, not just motivational speeches. You tell your team directly when their work doesn't meet the bar, with specific examples and clear improvement timelines. You push back on executive requests that compromise campaign quality or RFP win rates, even when it creates friction. You're data-driven can connect the dots and know all funnel metrics at all times, but not data-paralyzed - you make calls, measure results, and own the outcome.
What You'll Own
Product Marketing & Strategic Positioning
- You own SchooLinks' market narrative, competitive positioning, and how we show up in the market. This isn't delegated to an agency—you love crafting messaging frameworks, value propositions, and positioning strategies.
- You leverage intelligence from our Government Relations lead to align our narrative to policy trends, funding opportunities, and regulatory landscapes.
- When federal guidance shifts or state mandates emerge, you translate policy language into market positioning within days, not months.
- You own win/loss analysis, competitive battlecards, and sales enablement on positioning.
- You know our win rate by competitor, by deal size, by vertical—and you adjust positioning based on what's actually closing deals.
Digital/Performance Marketing
- You own the process from asset creation to campaign refinement.
- You have a team that manages but you are very fluent in acquisition campaigns, conversion optimization, and funnel metrics.
- You don't just "oversee" - you often get involved - build, test, and iterate campaigns yourself with the team.
- Conversions, win rate, CAC rates aren't abstractions - they're numbers you're personally accountable for moving every quarter.
RFP Management
- You care about each response's fidelity.
- Often times you lead our response strategy, but you are not afraid of jumping in to write, edit, and refine proposals when quality and scale demands it.
- You know our win rate, average proposal score, and time-to-response metrics cold.
Events
- You are responsible for event strategy and help execute when needed.
- That means sometimes managing logistics, staffing booths, running post-event analysis, and connecting leads yourself when your team needs backup.
- You measure pipeline generated per event dollar spent and kill underperforming events without sentimentality.
Requirements
- You can go high & you can go low. Our executive team is executors at heart and prioritizes PACE over delegation.
- 5+ years experience in leading marketing organizations, ideally in enterprise software and SaaS in education technology
- Experience in selling complex technology solutions to government entities with multi-stakeholders
- Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building

We are not a fit if you are
- Primarily strategic/delegator mindset without the desire to be hands-on

- Viewing "hands-on work" as beneath your level or temporary until you "build the team"

Target roles that align with their core platform
SchooLinks builds career and college readiness software, so engineering, product, and data roles tied to their platform are most likely to attract sponsorship consideration. Tailor your application to show direct relevance to edtech product development.
Understand their Green Card sponsorship pattern
SchooLinks has sponsored Green Cards under EB-2 and EB-3 categories, signaling willingness to support long-term permanent residency pathways. If you're targeting a PERM-based route, this company is worth prioritizing in your search strategy.
Ask about immigration support early in the process
Because SchooLinks operates in a niche sector, their immigration bandwidth may be limited. Raise sponsorship directly during early conversations with hiring managers or recruiters so both sides can align expectations before investing in the full interview process.
Position yourself as a long-term hire
Green Card sponsorship signals investment in long-term retention. Emphasize your commitment to growing with a mission-driven company, SchooLinks operates in Consulting and Professional Services, where continuity and deep product knowledge are valued by hiring teams.
Search for open roles using verified sponsorship data
Not all job boards confirm which roles are actually sponsorship-eligible. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your search on SchooLinks roles that have a documented track record.
Highlight specialized skills that are hard to source domestically
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship typically requires demonstrating that a qualified U.S. worker wasn't available. Lean into niche technical skills, certifications, or domain expertise in edtech or SaaS that strengthen the case for your sponsorship.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SchooLinks sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, SchooLinks has not recently filed H-1B visa petitions. Their documented sponsorship activity is focused on permanent residency through Green Card pathways, specifically under the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, confirm directly with their recruiting team before applying.
What visa types does SchooLinks sponsor?
SchooLinks has sponsored permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. These pathways are typically used for professional and skilled worker roles. There is no recent record of H-1B or E-3 visa sponsorship activity, so candidates dependent on nonimmigrant work visas should clarify eligibility with the company before proceeding.
Which departments or roles at SchooLinks are most likely to be sponsored?
SchooLinks builds college and career readiness technology, so roles in software engineering, product management, and data are the most common candidates for sponsorship consideration. Given their focus on a specialized edtech platform within Consulting and Professional Services, roles requiring deep technical or domain-specific expertise tend to be strongest candidates for Green Card support.
How do I find open sponsored roles at SchooLinks?
The most reliable approach is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can browse SchooLinks openings filtered by actual immigration history. This saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering late in the process that a role isn't eligible for sponsorship. Check their careers page in parallel to catch newly posted positions.
How do I approach the application process at SchooLinks as an international candidate?
Start by confirming that your target role falls within the engineering, product, or technical functions where sponsorship has historically occurred. During initial recruiter contact, ask directly whether the role supports Green Card sponsorship under EB-2 or EB-3. Being transparent early avoids misaligned expectations and helps the hiring team assess timeline and legal resourcing from the start.
