Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
Siemens Supply Chain roles that qualify for H-1B sponsorship must meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria. A degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research strengthens your case far more than a general business degree.
Target Roles Requiring SAP or ERP Proficiency
Siemens runs heavily on SAP across its global supply chain operations. Roles tied to SAP S/4HANA, procurement modules, or demand planning are more likely to require specialized qualifications, which supports the specialty occupation argument during H-1B filing.
Search Siemens Openings Through Migrate Mate
Filter Supply Chain positions at Siemens by visa type using Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship has been confirmed. This saves time and helps you prioritize applications before your OPT or grace period runs short.
Raise Sponsorship Early in Recruiter Conversations
Siemens has dedicated immigration counsel and internal HR processes for visa sponsorship. Asking about sponsorship during the first recruiter screen, not after an offer, avoids late-stage misalignment and gives both sides time to assess feasibility.
Use CPT Internships to Build an Internal Sponsorship Case
Siemens hires F-1 students on CPT for supply chain internships across procurement and logistics functions. Converting an internship to a full-time offer puts you ahead of external candidates when the company evaluates who to sponsor for H-1B in the spring cap season.

Find Supply Chain at Siemens JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Siemens sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles?
Yes, Siemens sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain positions where the role meets USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Roles focused on procurement strategy, logistics operations, or ERP systems like SAP tend to qualify. Sponsorship is handled through Siemens' in-house immigration team, so the process is structured once an offer is extended.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Siemens?
Applications go through Siemens' careers portal, but browsing open Supply Chain roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility is faster through Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific function (procurement, logistics, operations) and highlight systems experience like SAP, since Siemens weighs technical tool proficiency heavily in Supply Chain hiring.
Which visa types does Siemens commonly use for Supply Chain hires?
Siemens sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards (EB-2 and EB-3) for Supply Chain roles. H-1B is the most common path for full-time hires. TN is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying Supply Chain occupations. F-1 CPT and OPT are standard entry points through internships and new graduate roles.
What qualifications does Siemens expect for Supply Chain roles?
Most Supply Chain roles at Siemens require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research, or a related technical field. Graduate degrees strengthen candidacy for senior positions. Practical experience with ERP systems, especially SAP, and familiarity with global procurement or logistics operations is consistently valued across the function.
How do I plan my timeline if Siemens sponsors my visa?
H-1B petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, so offers typically need to be in place by February or March. If you're on OPT, a timely H-1B filing keeps your status continuous. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, expect DOL processing of six months or more before USCIS adjudication begins. Start conversations with your Siemens HR contact early.
